A few of you know that I have had one litter of yorkie puppies. That was about a year ago. Halle had four very healthy baby girls. I sold 3 of them. I kept one. That is Lucy. I didn't breed Halle the next time she went into heat and the next time was this past October. I didn't plan on breeding her then either. We kept her in an expen. Well after we were sure:rolleyes:that she wouldn't take a dog..we let her out and guess what happened???????? Anyways long story short we took her to the vet today to make for sure if she is pregnant (which I knew she was)and have an xray done. She is going to have a puppy! YES only one was all the vet could see. I only saw one on there too. It is completely developed. She is due either Christmas Day or the day after. I might as well be happy about it! The reason I hadn't bred her is mostly because of the economy, but also because I am really picky about the homes they go to!! Oh well what is done is done.. Now I just pray for a healthy baby. I just wanted to share this news with you girls. By the way, the vet measured the babies head and said that she shouldn't have any problem having it. That's very good news! Halle is a really good mommy!! She weighed 8 lbs. today. I will let you all know when our new little munchkin arrives:)

Oh a new baby!!! How wonderful! I know you didn't plan on it, but hey, the baby will be here soon and that will be so great! I too, wish I were close enough to come see the new baby.

What a nice little Christmas gift!!! I would love to have puppies but I don't think that I could part with them.......and then I'd be in BIG trouble!!! Hopefully you'll be able to find a good home for just one......or get so attached and keep her! I can't wait for pictures!!!

Thank you all so much! You can be assured that this will be one spoiled baby! I know I'm going to get so attached to it that I won't want to let it go..but I have 3! I don't need another one. Who knows? We'll just see what happens. I will definitely post pics. You are all welcome to come by my house and see the baby when he/she is born:):)

I missed it too!! Congratulations Paula...a new baby and at Christmas to boot. Always so exciting. I'm anxious to find out what sex it will be and to see some baby pics.:)
