I had an appointment way down in Westchester yesterday. Whenever I go anywhere near civilization, I find a HomeGoods, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Walmart, etc. I'll a settle for a JC Penney or a Kohl's too. We have no big stores up here, and the nearest shopping is about an hour away.
I went to Home Goods and got 2 lampshades, 2 picture frames, a nice looking woven storage box for my videos, and 3 pair of reading glasses. I needed everything I got, and came home happy. I am still budgeting, so I didn't buy anything I haven't been looking for. I usually buy online, and have to pay shipping, and don't really know what I'm getting until I see it, so prefer shopping in person if I can.
They had just finished doing inventory, so they weren't stocked as usual. I think it was better. Nothing to tempt me! I have a list of what I need, and can't wait to go to Kingston to their Home Goods.
