Gary spent last week at the deer lease getting ready for the sale this coming weekend. That meant he brought home LOTS OF THINGS he wants to keep - mostly hunting clothes - but  where to put everything!!! I managed to get it all washed and hung up in the back corner of our extra closet. WHEW! I don't know how I got it all crammed in there. :p

Last night I kept Emma (3 year old) while my daughter and sil went to a company party. There was a college women's basketball game (my mom and I have season tickets and it was a big game) so we took her to the game. Abigail, the 13 year old granddaughter went along to help me. It went pretty well, but I did not get to see all the game, as you might imagine. ;) Emma was really pretty good, just busy!!!

I made Gary a promise I fulfilled today. At Christmas, we didn't cook Christmas dinner since we were all leaving town the day of or day after Christmas. I promised Gary I'd fix him turkey and dressing after we got home. He LOVES leftover turkey and dressing - so I decided to do it today  WHEW! I'm tired and I didn't even cook half what I do at Thanksgiving. The kids came over to eat and we had a good time together and everything was good, but now I am tired!

Abigail wanted to go to Target so I took her after dinner and then I took her home. Now my feet hurt!!! I think I need to sit awhile and prop my feet up,

don't you think so................... :p

I really admire you Gayle! You are a participant in life, not a bystander! You deserve a nice "feet up" rest for a while.

Feet up AND a bubble bath!!! Sounds like you had fun! It's hard to take a little one to a ball game. There's just no place for them to GO, lol!!

I cooked dressing and all the trimmings the day after I got home from the hospital with Mike the first time. One of my dil's helped me...the other one can't cook, lol! It's a lot of work!

Wow Gayle you certainly do need to put your feet up:)I hope you did put up your feet and relax! I have also taken little ones to ballgames, they want to go up and down the bleachers constantly lol.
I bet Gary enjoyed his turkey and dressing. That was so sweet of you. Glad you got to have a nice dinner with your family.

What a pain it can be to find room for things like that Gayle!
So glad you got to spend time with the girls, sounds like you enjoyed that special time.

Soak those achy feet in a nice hot bath next time
