For anyone I may have as a contact in hotmail, please do not click on a link inside an email from me. Sometime yesterday my hotmail got hacked and sent vacation messages with a link inside to every contact I have, plus put a signature with the same message in it.

I am so upset and worried because I just checked back and I have emails saved that have my visa number and other personal information in it. But my bank account shows no activity so I might be safe... I googled it and it's just a spammer who hacked into a lot of accounts last year. I guess they're at it again :( My password is changed now. I don't know what else to do.

What a scary, pain in the neck! I'm so sorry you have to deal with this.

Well Scott got the email at work this morning and clicked on the link already :( I hope it doesn't mess up his work computer. Apparently it's a virus. The good thing is it's likely nobody who hacked in and looked for information, just a malware virus sending spam to contact lists. It still sucks though! Lol I'm thinking of all the ex boyfriends and distant family members and old friends I'm not in touch with who got an email from me this morning!

I hope you clear this up, and that they do not get any of your info! I can't imagine anybody wanting to get revenge on you!
