Okay, by now most of you know I don't really care for shopping.....but once in a while that little bug bites me and today was the day.

I needed jeans and some toiletries so I headed to town. I found the toiletries I needed and then of course I looked at doggie stuff, but held back and didn't buy anything.

Then I bought my son 4 pairs of jeans, two shirts and me.....I found one pair of jeans. I came home! So....since this bug only bites me a couple times a year...I guess I'll just have to make due with what I have.....:(

I'll just ask for jeans for Christmas and maybe a few other things...Ha Ha Ha!

Awwww i bet your son loves he's new clothes, i think most mom's prefer to buy for the kids.... i always want my son to "look good" .... i remember what i was like as a teen.
Also, i don't know what schools are like where you are, but here, kids have to "keep up" with names and brands, or else they stand a chance of being "bullied" ... so i make sure he's "with it"... though he has to do odd jobs for us, get's allowence and clothing money each month.

I love to shop for myself too, but lately i think before i buy, i read an article on malls, and learnt a LOT from that, we tend to buy things we already have without thinking while walking through mall's.... so now i have a few selected shops i go to if i need stuff.

Yes he does....He was out straighten and cleaning up the wood pile and I yelled out that I got him something and he came running. He loved everything, but will have to try the jeans and dress pants on. He is so tall and skinny that he is really hard to buy for. He really needs a 29 waist, 32 length, but all I can usually find are the 30 W and 32 length.

I would probably love to shop if I didn't have to try everything on. Doesn't matter whether it's shirts or pants, I have to try them on. Those dressing rooms are so hot, I wish they would put ceiling fans in them....Ha Ha ....oh and maybe a glass iced tea or lemonade...LOL...I know, I'm dreaming. :D

Glad you found some great stuff for the boy. I pick out things for Jen then she doesn't like it. She is so picky. Oh well. Tell the guys I said hello.

Glad you had a fun day shopping Janet. It's so sweet that your son was excited to see his new stuff. He sounds so easy to please.

I hate trying on clothes also, but feel it's a must atleast for most items. Tops I usually don't worry about trying on that much.

I LOVE shopping for toiletries. Especially at Target. It's amazing how fast those items add up though, ugh! $$ $$ $$
