A day alone......yay!!! We're buying a pickup from a friend for Glen as soon as he finds a new one for himself. Today he was heading to Nebraska to look at one and invited Glen to go with him. Yay!!! Glen's been home quite a bit with the snow and cold and I'm so ready for him to be out of the house!!!!

Then Karlie went to Amy's today so I don't have her and Jaci's still at school!!! The house is so nice and quiet!! I finally got caught up on 4WT threads.....and maybe this afternoon I can get some pictures on for you!!

I've got to get some things straightened up first.....I signed up for Care Group again (church Bible study) and it's this weekend so I'm trying to get ready for that!! Plus I have to plan a supper for everyone too and since it'll be Valentine's Day I want it to be special. I don't know why I do this to myself.......can we say S T R E S S?

I know how much you've looked forward to a nice quiet day and I'm so glad you finally got it. I'm going to have to check for the pictures now...can't wait! Don't stress out too bad....I know you'll have a wonderful supper and it will be very pretty too. Always remember...it's the nice simple things people remember.

I love being home alone too! It rarely happens anymore though. It's so ironic. Gary worked 2:00PM to midnight for years while I worked 8-5, so we only saw each other on weekends, and then often he was gone hunting and fishing. So we were apart more than we were together. Now, we are together almost all the time I am not at work. I don't mind at all, but I do enjoy some alone time, for sure.

Ah....alone time! It is so necessary sometimes! Enjoy it, Diana!

Don't stress too bad over the Care Group or the dinner. Your kids love you, and you are such a great teacher! A Valentine's day meal would be kind of fun to do also.

How about a heart shaped meatloaf?

With pretty veggies around it....like potato chunks, carrots, green beans, laid out like flowers... But, where do you get a heart shaped pan to make your meatloaf in? Aluminum foil made into a pan????

You can buy heart-shaped cake pans, I'm sure that would work!

Did you enjoy your alone time Diana? I look forward to Wednesdays because Scott plays volleyball for a couple of hours and I get to just relax at home with Layla :)

My time alone was soooo nice!!! Jaci came home from school at 2:00 but she's pretty quiet when she's home. I have a kitchen counter that's a real catch-all and I finally got that cleaned off. It was late when I finally got it done so I didn't get my pictures put on. Glen got home about 9:00 or so.

His friend got a new pickup so he got to drive the other pickup home!! It's a nicer truck than he's ever had so I'm sure he's excited. Today he's got to go and talk to the banker!!

My care group is mostly adults and a few kids. We'll be having 25 to 30 in all. I think that I'm going to go to Wal-mart tomorrow and pick up a pork loin. My SIL fixed one when we were in Nebraska and it was wonderful!! So I'm going to try that...plus I can fix it ahead and then just warm it up. The meal will be really nice.
