I just called Janet to check on her and she sounded really bad. She said that she had a tooth pulled this morning and that it was bad. I didn't chat with her for long because I could tell that she just wasn't up to it. I know that she'd appreciate any prayers.

I talked to Janet later in the day yesterday and she's feeling much better. She had a tooth that was really bothering her and she's really glad to have it out.

Hi all!!! Thank you so much Diana. I haven't had a toothache like that in years. I was suppose to start my dental work last week, but because of the snow and Mom being in the hospital, my appt. was rescheduled for today (Thursday).

Yesterday when I woke up I was in so much pain and couldn't find a sub driver. So needless to say I drove the bus and felt every bump in the road there was. As soon as I got home I called the dentist to see if they could get me in asap and they said to come on in. Wasn't long and they had the tooth out.

I had some errands to run with Mom and by the time I got home I was hurting again. The tooth she pulled she said was different than most. Usually they just have two roots and this one had four on it. I told her I was just different...LOL.

So far today, I don't have any swelling on the outside, but my mouth is pretty sore today. I've been alternating Tylenol and ibuprohen and it has helped considerably. Thank you all for your prayers...

I had the upper right side done today. They did the scraping and root cleaning. No pain at all. I go again next Wednesday for the upper left. They have to fix the two cavities first because they are too sensitive to do the cleaning and scraping. So far so good. My teeth needed this so badly and I'm glad that I'm finally able to get some help.

My next visit I think they are going to fix the cavities and the do some more cleaning and scraping. I'll be so glad when it's all done and taken care of, but so far..other than where the tooth was pulled, I haven't had any pain or discomfort.

That's good. I hate dentists and having any kind of work done. I think that it's because as a child we went to an old army dentist and he wasn't exactly the most careful about pain.

It is great that you haven't had any pain Janet! Sometimes I take 2 advil before I go if I know it's going to be a difficult procedure.

Hope it all goes so smoothly!!!
