View Full Version : Too much to do!
I woke up early this morning, planning to go to my writing workshop, then for a manicure, then to come home and leave again for a dinner meeting with my Womens' Group.
I can't run around like that all day! My body has become so used to relaxing, that running around all day.....no!
So, I called and left a message for the leader of the writers' group that I can't make it today. Ahhhh! Now, I don't feel pressured!
I didn't tell her that I can't make it next week either! A friend from NYC is coming up. My first house guest! I haven't been ready before, but I am now!
I guess that first novel will have to wait a couple of weeks!

Judy, for a city girl, you have really gotten used to a slower paced life of leasure. Your schedule didn't sound so bad.
Enjoy your day!!!! And your houseguest next week!!

Well Judy, I think you should do whatever Judy wants to do! I am not used to running around all day like that either. I hope you enjoyed your manicure. And then you have the meeting this evening. That sounds nice, a dinner too.
Enjoy your company next week!:)

It sounds so nice to be able to pick and choose what you want to do...lol. Still have lots of snow there? Ours is almost gone. It got up to 57 degrees today. Hope you have a great time with your friend. Will her visit be just for the day or does she get to stay awhile? Either way....I know you'll enjoy the company after being snowed in.

It sounds like you have a much slower way of life now!!! So relaxing!!! You're able to do as you please.....when you please!!! How exciting.....a first house guest!!! I hope you have a great time!!
I am looking forward to Carol coming up! I will enjoy seeing her again! There are still tons of snow here, but I haven't worn a coat for the past 3 days. It is going to rain, which should melt a lot of the snow, but we are all hoping that we don't get flooding.
It's always something up here, and always weather related!
I'm not used to that. In NYC, weather is just not a big deal, although snow is a problem in NYC when it comes to using your car.
My house has not been cleaned since before the snow. Marcia, who cleans, came down with pneumonia! She had to change antibiotics last week again, poor thing. I am hoping she can make it by Sunday. If not, I will just do the floors, and wipe some things down. The house does stay nice and clean, which is great!
