Here's some pictures that I took last year of my irises. They were so beautiful and I have a lot of different colors! I have picked most of these up at a garage sale for two years in a row for not much. The woman had such pretty colors that I couldn't resist.....of course.....some were a surprise!!
Hopefully, it will get you in the mood for spring......which will arrive AFTER our snow melts!!!

Are you ready for spring now?
The last picture shows Glen putting up the fence around our yard. It's really pretty but we didn't get it quite finished. Hopefully this spring it will get done!! It's really pretty and dresses up the yard.

The Iris's are beautiful Diana and YES, it makes me want spring even more. We are only going to be in the 40's today with rain, but the rest of the week is suppose to improve some. Were people selling them at garage sales???? I've been to a lot of sales and I've never seen flowers being sold. I really need to get out of our county more.....LOLOL

Beautiful flowers Diana!! What a pretty fence.......that should be nice about keeping the doggies in the yard.
Like Janet, I've never seen flowers for sale at a yard sale.

I think that the lady had divided her clumps to thin them out and was selling what she had thinned out. You don't find that here very often either. Some still had blooms on them so you could tell what they were but I also got a lot of small ones that I didn't know what they were and they are the yellow ones around the tree. I really don't care for that color but they are really pretty when they bloom. The pastel colored one with yellow, purple, pink is a special one that I ordered from e-bay. I was so excited for it to bloom and it only had a couple of blooms then while Glen was working on the fence he ruined one of the blooms. He felt so bad because he knew how excited I was for it to bloom.
I just love flowers. When I was little my Great-grandma and Grandpa lived right next door to us and her yard was filled with peonies, irises, daffodils, and roses. It was like a trail to get through on one side of her house and I loved it!!!
I am so ready, and looking at those beautiful flowers got me even readier!
Your yard is lovely Diana! It looks like a very peaceful place to sit among the flowers.

Beautiful irises!
Ialso have quite a few. I call them my friendship row, because I asked friends to donate a bulb each from their irises. I planted them on one side of the house.
It is all filled it nicely! Different colors, which thankfully blend well together.
I love it, and when they start blooming, I am reminded of the special friends I have, and say a prayer of thanks. :)

Oh, Shada, what a great idea!! A friendship row!!!
I am so ready for spring. I want to get my plants outside, set up my flower boxes, my front porch, maybe put out a tomato plant, and so on.
I got a pedicure, so I am ready for open toe shoes, or flip flops. I am looking around for a new bathing suit, and some terry cloth sun dresses.
Wouldn't you know it snowed yesterday:mad::mad::mad:
I would love to take the dogs to the dog run, but I think there is still too much snow in there, and it's windy!
Hello spring...can you hear me...we are all ready for you...please come soon!

I hear ya Judy....we were on spring break this week and I cleaned. Wasn't very warm out anyway, but the sun did shine. Today......well it's been raining since around midnight and is suppose to rain the whole day and into this evening. Next week......forecast calls for in the high 60's and low 70's. So ready to be out without a jacket and feel that wonderful sun on my face.
