We had Dae Lynn and Damon come out Sunday evening and they went fishing with Glen (I got to watch Karlie and the baby!!!). After they got back home they cleaned the fish and I cooked the fish for supper. It was so delicious!!

On Tuesday evening we had a birthday party here at the house for Karlie. All the kids were here, we ordered pizza, and just had a good time. Baby Dean got held sooo much!!

Anyway, on Wednesday the kitchen started smelling. I looked around thinking that I had rotten potatoes or something. I looked but didn't find anything. Then it was so nice on Thursday that I had the windows open and the smell was worse. Damon had thrown out the fish guts somewhere near the house so Glen decided that that had to be what was smelling. I told him to wait until morning to take care of it but the smell was so bad that I didn't sleep well. Glen had even though that possibly the dogs had carried in some fish parts and he looked all over for something to blame the smell on but didn't find anything. The smell was sooo bad that I wasn't sure that I could stay home yesterday.....it was awful!!!

I finally got to looking again.....didn't find anything.....but the smell was bad around the refrigerator. I couldn't find anything inside that would smell that bad and after checking a couple more times I finally saw a package on top of the refrigerator. During the birthday party either Glen or I had set a package of ground turkey up there and didn't get it back in the freezer. YUCK!!!! I'm so glad that I finally found it or I'd have had to move out!! It was soooo bad!!!!

So the moral of the story is.....if you ever have a bad smell in your house.....Check the top of your refrigerator!!!!

Oh, and here's some pictures of Karlie's party......

The second picture has my son, Feyn, and his wife, Tammy. My daugher, Amy, is on the right.

Drat.....I clicked on the submit button before I had my pictures put on!!

1. Elijah holding Dean. My son, Feyn, and Kiley are keeping an eye on them. Kiley is one of the twins.

2. Karley holding Dean. She is the other twin.

3. This is Kiley and Kera. Aren't they looking like young ladies? They are growing so fast.

4. I put this picture on because it has Daya in it. It's not a good one because she's talking but I have all of the grandkids on with this one.

What a great family!! I know you love having everybody together:)

I put stuff on top of my refrigerator and forget it all of the time, lol!! It's really aggravating to ruin perfectly good food!

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one to do silly things. I'm so short though, that I don't usually put things on the top of the fridge, but I am likely to leave something out on the cabinet so long that it is ruined, but not so long that it stinks. LOL!

A while back, there was a terrible smell in our house and I just knew it was Gary's catfish bait in the garage. He SWORE he didn't have any in the garage, but of course, you know that he did, but it took a week of complaining to get him to do a thorough enough search to find it! So, Iguess that is something else that just "frosts my eyeballs". LOL!

What's funny is that Glen and I both admitted that we may have done it!!! We both must have been digging in the freezer for something!!! I've never placed anything on top of the refrigerator before because this one is so tall but the kids were all here and the counters were full of stuff and I can see why it happened. I'm just so glad that the smell is gone....it was really bad!!!
