I put them in the OMG! thread, but thought I'd put them here because you might not go back to that thread.

I can't imagine any problems. I love this house Gayle! Good luck on your move!
Mortgage rates are nice and low too, if you are thinking of mortgaging.

You already know that I love everything about it...inside and out. I'm not the one moving and I'm excited to see what you you do to it to make it your own. Looks like the rooms are a pretty good size too.

Go bold with paint colors! I love to paint. It's cheap, and it makes such a big difference!! I'm also a fan of staying on budget, lol!

Judy, we are financing it. I don't want to have to sell this home we have right now (that would be way too much stress for me), so the only way we could buy it was to finance. And the only reason I am able to do this (and keep my sanity) is knowing that I can sell the Austin house for the same price, and thus, be able to pay off the mortgage whenever I want. Yes, the interest rates are super low, especially for Gary - he can get a VA loan for disabled veterans at 3.4 percent interest. When I told the mortgage guy we would likely sell the Austin house (at some time) and pay off this mortgage, he cautioned us that we could likely make more money when we sold the Austin house by investing the money, rather than paying off a 3.4 percent mortgage. He is right of course, but I do want to NOT have a house payment at some point in my life, although this one will be super low due to low interest and no mortgage protection insurance and no property taxes.

Interest is low, good luck with whatever decision you both make.
