Are you done your shopping yet? Have you started?
I love Christmas shopping (I know, I'm crazy) and I got it all done pretty early this year! I'm still waiting for a few things to arrive in the mail that I ordered online. I hope they get here in time! I also decided to buy one more thing for my parents that I will pick up this weekend. We also just remembered Scott's sister's stepdaughter... We bought stuff for his baby nephew and his soon to be baby nephew or neice, but forgot about Rhea! She's 13 I think and very tomboyish, so we might just get her a gift card.
Last night I wrapped all of the gifts we have and put them under the tree. I love wrapping presents! Last year our condo was still under construction at this time, so it's really nice to have the decorations up and space to wrap, and then we spend the rest of our evenings watching holiday specials and drinking egg nog or apple cider while the snow falls outside :D I love this time of year!
I did all my shopping on-line. I think I only need two nephews and my older sis. Yay!!! This year was better than last.

I just bought three things online. I think I would do more online shopping if there were more places that ship FROM Canada. One thing I bought was a shirt for my brother, which was regular $39 and on sale for $12! I jumped on it and went through the checkout and everything and realized shipping to Canada was an extra $25 so I basically paid regular price anyway. Oh well. I like Overstock.com because shipping to Canada is flat rate $9.95. I ordered something else for my brother from there a week ago and it hasn't even been shipped out yet :( So I may have to just print out a picture of it and wrap that in a box and tell him it's coming. It's tough to really guage how long it takes packages to ship between here and the USA because sometimes things get stuck at the border for awhile.

Gosh so expensive. I had all my browser windows open so i can look back and forth to the better deal. Even if it's just a $5 dollar difference. I think it's better than waisting gas money and dealing with traffic.

Well all my orders are currently en route to Canada :) Actually, I checked one this morning and it said it was over the border in Richmond, BC, with the note: PACKAGE DATA PROCESSED BY BROKERAGE. WAITING FOR CLEARANCE
Then all of a sudden it's back in Washington  So it came to Canada, and back across the border to the US... I hope it gets back over here again!
We were listening to my Sirius radio on the way home a couple days ago, and all of a sudden my presets weren't working anymore so Scott started switching through channels and we found a Christmas one!!!!!!!! So now whenever we're in the car it's Christmas music :D:D:D:D

Haha now that I think about it... I think maybe it's just making it's way to Richmond, because there is no arrival or departure from Richmond. So maybe they're just doing clearance border things ahead of time? I have no idea how mail works!!!

OH YES! Sirius radio Holly station. I LOVE that station. It comes on about the middle of November - it's the only station on my radio at this time of the year too!

I never thought about ordering gifts from the U.S. having to be cleared at the border......duh.......or the shipping being higher. You have so much energy to have everything wrapped already!!! I haven't even started yet......but I have to today because I bought some gifts for some kids at church and they have to be taken in tomorrow.......so I guess.....the wrapping will begin today!!!

I think I am done but I'm not sure. LOL! Anyway, I think I'm as done as I'm going to get! I thought I might put up our tree, but I just don't feel well enough and I still have unpacking to do.
