I hope the clouds clear up here so we can see it!

We are having snow and it's to continue until tomorrow afternoon, so not sure we'll be able to see it...plus...I just know I'll be too sleepy to get up. Bet it will be awesome though.

It's supposed to be visible here between 2 am and 3:15 am, so I am waking up to watch it :) It's a bit cloudy but hopefully we will see something

I saw the eclipse at 2:00 this morning! All of the clouds had cleared up, the stars were out, and the moon was just beautiful!

I was up at 3 AM and totally forgot all about it...bummer!
It was cloudy so I slept. Did you get pix Betsi? It must have been beautiful!
I would love to see the Northern Lights one day!

Judy, I didn't know you couldn't see the Northern Lights from there! You should probably come visit me :) They remind me so much of growing up in my hometown, watching them at night when I hung out with my friends outside. We'd watch for hours and just sit there and talk. I even had them put in the background of my last tattoo!

This is a post from when I first got it done, it's all shiny from the lotion stuff but you get an idea lol. The northern lights we see here are just blues and greens but I wanted some prettier colors so I went with blues and purples, with pink stars :D There's 6 of everything in tattoo (my birthday is 6/6 and it's my lucky number!)
If I have my camera with me the next time I see the northern lights I'll take some video for all of you!

That is such a cute tattoo, I love it. I did read you mention he didn't outline it with black I think that was a smart move.

Thanks! It has faded a lot in the last couple of years and I've thought of having it redone a bit but I don't have the spare money to fix a tattoo now that I have a mortgage lol! The more I look at it the more I notice all the little mistakes and smudged colors and things like that, but Scott says nobody else would notice! I'm still happy with it for now :)
