Hi ladies! I have been MIA from 4Women Talk for awhile now. I have been obsessively planning my wedding. I need to stop being on the knot and start coming back here. My life s being consummed by wedding planning. I miss this place, and I promise to drop by more.

Well it's about time.....LOL Glad you're just busy and not ill. So by the way...how is the planning coming along? When is the wedding? One word of advice while planning....slow down and enjoy the planning. There are so many parts that I just don't remember because I was trying to do everything and in a hurry.

Don't be afraid to delegate and take some of the load off. Just be sure your wishes are explained out well to who ever you delegate to. It will help you enjoy the planning and the wedding so much more. Everyone takes pictures at the wedding, but don't forget to take pictures as you're planning. Not many do this and that's a shame. You put so much into it and no pictures to show all that hard work...ha ha

Unfortunately, I have discovered that I am a bit of a control freak. :) Not a surprise to some.;) Anyway, I am delegating a little. I am really excited about it and it has consumed more hours than I thought. The wedding is April 14, 2007. I am so excited. I am hoping to have my little yorkie Lola in the wedding too.

Oh having Lola in the wedding would be so sweet!!! You don't have a whole lot of time left. It goes so fast. I'm a control freak too, but if I sit down and make a list and all the details about everything on the list...things seem to go so much smoother. Yeah....I'm not only a control freak...I'm a list maker. My poor family!!!!

Janet, we are one in the same. I have lists all over the house. I take so many notes and have lists upon lists. I finally wrote one about things I want to pass off. The list has three things on it. ;)

I'm so crazy that I'm having Thanksgiving dinner here again this year. It's just a dinner...but I started my list 2 weeks ago of the menu, things to buy (so I can watch when it's on sale) what will need done around the house...what jobs I trust my hubby and son to do... So many lists...so little time....LMAO!!!!:D

I planned my daughters wedding in six weeks and she had a wonderfull white wedding and only3 days before christmas.2003. I think the longer you have to plan just makes you so stressed out.So try and chill and enjoy when is the big day?.
