Ok, ladies....

I've posted SEVERAL threads this morning that were designed to entice some healthy conversation or debate around here. My goal is to get this place heated up a little. Don't be afraid to post a comment on one of my threads, even if you disagree with what someone else has said or if you think your comment may seem controversial. A little friendly debate never hurt anyone. :)

Completely agree!!!!!! I think one of the things that makes YT interesting is all the different people with so many different opinions and personalities.

I do too, but sometimes some of the ladies there want to shove their opinions down ones throat and don't want to let up any. That is bothersome to me. Others just jump right on the thread without reading every post and blurt out their opinion and don't have a clue what has been discussed. I've always been interested in others opinions on just about anything, but don't want it shoved down my throat. I would never do that to some one else and don't appreciate it being done to me.

Some of them on the bashing end...I get to feeling so sorry for, I know they didn't see it coming. I always think there is a kind way to get ones point across.

I totaly agree, everyone has their own opinion right or wrong, this is a free country and everyone is entitled. I do understand how on YT people get hostile so to speak. First all that is said on here is through words, no emotions, no feelings no nothing! Just writing on a paper, you don't know the person so how can anyone deceipher the true meaning. Soemtimes things come across very cold in a sense when actually they didn't mean it that way. Sooo ladies a friendly debate never hurt anyone...lol actually a good rebuttal is fun...

Oh wow....someone wasn't allowed here? There was someone that lives on drama and debate and they "were" here? I haven't the faintest idea who that was.....I don't think...

I love a nice healthy debate, just as long as it doesn't attack someone or hurt someone's feelings. I think a difference of opinion can give us all something to learn. But now Villette, you got me wondering!!!! I'm glad the forum masters take care of that kind of thing...:)

There's always going to be people on the net that post for other reasons than why WE do - I just know the admin is great at spotting them -

since the same admin runs YT ...I know when I've seen troll posts - they're gone almost immediately - with a big site like that - I bet it can be such a pain but they're pretty good at spotting them and deleting

An example on YT would be someone saying they want to breed their teacup female to a 10 lb male or something like that. Anything to make people mad. :)

Another example is when people say they aren't going to spay/neuter their yorkie because it's bad for them. People have very strong opinions about this and it always just ends in an arguement. So that would be another example of a troll post.

Trolls take lots of forms on the net - there are people who cruise forums just to put up crazy stuff that make no sense..... and there are those who purposely post touchy subjects over and over knowing full well what will happen. Their posts are geared to drama & to incite others. I've seen that kind of person firsthand and it's pretty pitiful.

I guess in three years I've seen it ALL by now lol.... A little drama never hurts a site but ALOT of drama can.

The Tech sites are notorious for having problems with trolls.....and I can remember a COPD forum for the terminally ill having a problem - a bunch of kids got on and posted a bunch of horrible stuff - that site had to close down..... can you imagine making fun of people who are seriously ill ???:(

I didn't realize "trolls" were so notorious...:eek: I can't believe they do it just to cause trouble. Do they stick around and make sure trouble started? AND the audacity to do that on a site for the terminally ill. That is just sick!

I also can't believe that I'm that dumb and didn't know anything about these trolls. Glad I know now!
