So Many Deer!!

On my bus route of a morning, I am seeing so many deer. On this one road I travel, there is this 10 point buck that seems to be waiting on me every morning. He stands in the middle of this gravel road and waits till I get about 3 or 4 bus lengths away from him before he jumps into a wooded area and then stands there watching the bus go by. It is so cool. The does are running all around too, I think it's rut season.

We've also seen a lot of Blue Herron. I usually stop if we're running on time so the kids can see some of the wildlife. I'm sure some of them never get the chance otherwise.

Those kids on the bus must love the stop you make with them, i hear what your saying about not many getting the chance to see it very often!!

The kids really love getting to stop and watch the wildlife. We stop for deer, especially a buck, Blue Herron, fox, redtail hawks, turkey vultures. They just aaww and ooohh the whole time.
