Make-up Days

And now....since we've had so many snow days at school...we are having to make them up on a few Saturdays. Still having to go later into June, but this will keep us from adding more days at the end. We had construction going on at the first of the year so it pushed our start up date back. Now instead of having June, July and part of August off for summer.....we will have a week in June, July and 2 weeks of August...very short summer. I was wanting to find a part-time job in the summer to make some extra money, but now will have to wait and see what our final day is and startup for next year.

I've got to move somewhere where they don't have 'make-up' days...:rolleyes:

We have make-up days too. I think that four days were scheduled for snow days and we have had 6 so far so we have to make up two. One is going to be on a Friday that was scheduled to be off and then they've extended our school year by a day. That won't be too bad. I would hate to go into June!!! That will really make your summer feel short!!!

We are suppose to get out sometime around the 13th or 14th (I think) of June. Way too long into summer, but at least we are not adding anymore on. We've already used up the planned make up days...hence the Saturdays.

How many snow days did you have? That seems like a lot of make up days!

Lol Janet you could move here! In my 13 years from Kindergarten until the end of high school, I could count on one hand the number of days that school was cancelled! But you'd have to get used to more winter lol ;) and I don't think you'd enjoy that.

Sorry Lindsey!!!! I just can't move north...ever...LOLOL. I need to get as far away from snow and cold as possible.
