My hubby and son went camping this weekend with Scouts. It gets down into the 30's at night so I hope they stay warm. I would never camp when it's this cold.

I was so tired when I went to bed last night, but I woke up at 3:45 AM and couldn't go back to sleep. Made my coffe and checking in here and at YT and then will have to get busy. Not really too much to do, but I do need to clean the kitchen and then give the doggies their bath. After that, I think I'm going to do some sewing......or take a nap. :)

Wow, I can't imagine having the house to myself for the weekend. I could get so much done!!! This morning, Zoe woke me up. I put the dogs out, made coffee, fed them, ate a bowl of cereal. I have lots of cleaning and washing to do today, but my hubby is still asleep and if I do anything else, I'll disturb him, and he will not appreciate it. So, I'm kinda stuck until he decides to wake up. Guess I could go sort clothes. How EXCITING!!!!!!:(

I'm in the same position, Marilyn. Hootie and Hobbs woke me up this morning to go outside and after that I couldn't go back to sleep. Now, hubby, Hootie, and Hobbs are all piled up in bed asleep and I can't do any chores until they wake up bc I don't want to disturb them. Hubby has been working EXTREMELY hard this week (12 hour days, plus being on call at night), so I want him to get as much rest as possible! :p :p :p

We're having friends over this afternoon to watch the Auburn/Alabama Iron Bowl game. I need to get busy cleaning this house before long! Hubby said he would go to the grocery store while I stayed here and cleaned up. There's no way I could clean AND go to the grocery store and have everything done in time. Maybe if I stop chatting and get my butt in gear I could accomplish that, but....NAH!

WOW! You sure did get up early this morning. I've found that I get much more done around the house when I don't have people here to interrupt me. Enjoy your day!!!

My husband is in charge of a Royal Ranger group at church (it's like Boy Scouts) and he often goes camping or on hikes with the boys. My youngest daughter often goes with them (she's an honorary member!) so I, too, am often left home alone. I love it!! I don't have to cook. I can stay on the computer as long as I want to and not feel guilty! Or I can watch TV all day!

So enjoy your day and spend a little time pampering yourself and doing what you enjoy doing. Have a great day!!!!!

Well I did have a decent day, but didn't get as much done as I wanted to. I did get my kitchen cleaned up and then I had to rush my little Joey to the Vet. He had an anal gland burst. The Dr. got it all cleaned out and now Joey is on antibiotics. Needless to say, getting up so early, my motivation slowly went by the wayside...LOL Tomorrow morning I am planning on giving the babies their bath since I didn't get it done today. Hopefully I'll have that done and the rest of the groceries bought before the guys come home.....but...ya just never know...LOLOL

Well, I finally got most of the clothes washed, cleaned the kitchen and mopped the floors. My daughter got home from spending the night at a girl friends house and cleaned and dusted the living room for me. Things look a lot better around here. My hubby and I went to the gym and worked out, had salads at Red Lobster, bought a video at Hastings & went crusin' in his '70 Mach 1 through the city park and older part of town. I was working on my Bible class lesson for tomorrow and decided to see what happened here today. I still have two Yorkies to bathe, but may do that a little later or tomorrow afternoon. How does a house with three people in it get so dirty from one weekend to the next? We have a lot of tile floor, and I know I'm probably obsessive, but I changed the mop water twice while I was mopping, it just seemed to be so dirty. Oh, well, will have to do it all over again next week anyway. But if it ends, I guess that would mean I'm dead, and surely wouldn't want that!!!
