Cruise & Holmes Wedding

Can you imagine telling the family.....oh by the way, we finally decided about the wedding. It's going to me a short 30 minute ceremony in a castle in a small village outside of Rome. Hope everyone can be there. It's not the real wedding of course, that will take place in California. It's going to be so cool!!! We're inviting lots of the folks we work with, Will Smith, J Lo, and a few others. What do you think??? Oh, and we're all wearing Armoni, even our baby. He's desiging her such a sweet frock.

I think their whole relationship was weird... Right after Katie broke off her engagement with Chris Klein, she met Tom and they were pretty much immediately making out on every red carpet they could, and trying (in my opinion, way too hard) to get attention. After the baby was born they quieted down a bit, but this whole wedding thing was huge again... Usually famous people try to keep private things private, and go to great lengths to have privacy for their weddings, etc., but everyone and their dog knew where and when this wedding was happening. I guess it just doesn't seem real to me!
But about the wedding... yeah it's pretty much my goal now to get crazy rich before I'm married so I can have a dream wedding too! :D

Remember when Tom was on Oprah and had the whole "couch jumping" incident? He was saying that Katie was the "love of his life" and so on. I LOVED how Oprah said, "Wasn't Nicole the 'love of your life' at one point?" and Oprah really gave Tom a hard time about it. That is probably why she wasn't invited to the wedding! :p

I remember when he was on Oprah! I thought he was a little old to be jumping around like a school boy. He showed no maturity or class. I don't care for him at all any more. His divorce from Nicole, the Oprah incident, his interview on the Today show about his Scientology and berating Brooke Sheilds for seeking medical help with her post partum depression.

I think now, he is just a wacko with a far out ego!

I heard that Ophrah wasn't invited because of some interview she did...they asked about the whole Tom incident and she said that she didn't buy it! Well, that made Tom mad so they didn't invite her.

They've gotten really strange. It just doesn't seem real to me. Her parents don't like him, either (at least that's what I've heard). Oh, and John Travolta (A big scientologist) was going to be the piolet of a plane carrying invited guests.

NO!!! I didn't know that! But I do know that he apologized to her not too long ago. I don't know if he really meant it...from his actions, I just don't think so, but hey, I don't know the guy....LOL

He seems, to me, to be a master manipulator. I really don't see what she sees in him, especially going against her parents wishes. I know she has to do what she feels is right, but he seems to control her in all the photos and video you see of them.

I read that the wedding was Scientology, but they had a civil ceremony in California before going to Rome. Italy would not have allowed a Catholic ceremony because Tom is divorced, and Italy does not recognize a Scientology ceremony. They did not apply for a marriage license in Italy, so the rumor is that they did the civil wedding in Calif. to make it all legal.

The whole thing is really strange, and I think he is manipulating Katie. But someone must think he's got it together to put him in charge of United Artists.
