Laundry question-Nylon
Does anyone know how to get a stain out of a mostly nylon and some spandex yoga jacket? I've soaked it for DAYS in detergent, and borax, and sprayed it with spray and wash. It says don't bleach...I'm very tempted. It's just a light blue stain (from where??) on the front. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Sorry, wish I could help. Are there any sites for stain removal that could possibly help? Maybe call a dry cleaners for some suggestions?

Since it's blue, could it be ink? Hairspray takes out ink in most things. I would probably try Biz or some other presoak stuff. Try rubbing some Ivory soap in it and rub it together and see what happens. If those dont' work then I have no idea what to do.

is it a white piece? I might try a bit of peroxide on it... shouldn't hurt...
Blech actually weakens stretchy fabrics as it kind of disolves the threads... NOT a good look.... so I'd avoid that.

I don't know if this will help, but my grandma uses this on a lot of stains and it gets almost anything out! She mixes a bit of vinegar with dish soap and rubs it on the stain before putting it in the washer.

So I soaked it for about a week, and then my bf went on a laundry craze, swooped it up, threw it in a load with bleach, and that pretty much did the trick! Oops! I'm glad he did that unknowing that it wasn't supposed to be bleached cause now it's done and I don't have to deal with it anymore!

lol well i'm glad it worked for you because i have white bikini bottoms that I really love, and I went camping last year and wore a new blue skirt overtop of them, and I accidently dyed the back of them with a tinge of blue I'm going to take my own advice and soak them in vinegar before summer!
