The Apricot pup just left for his new home.
The couple finally decided on him. (He's the one the lady had wanted from the start... surprise surprise.) :) So now I'm down to 3 male pups left to sell. 1 white, and 2 cream/honey.

It is the Big Brother Big Sister Program mentoring a small child.

We had such a good day together. It just warms my heart. :p

I am feeling well today. I also talked to Angela earlier today and she was about ten minutes away from Maddie's house. They were spending the day with them and then leaving with Maddie.

Everyone has so much going on - it's great to hear about it all.

River - thanks for the volunteer work - you are making the world better for all of us. What do you enjoy most about BBBSL? Is there something you really like to do with your little friend? What is hardest about it?

Thanks. I don't know about making the world a better place, but I do know it brightens a childs day. Doing so is what I enjoy most. Our outtings together are anything from lunch and a movie to simple days of hanging out together. Our relationship has grown and the only difficult aspect would be trying to schedule our time together within our busy lives.

I always find the hard part of working with "my kids" is that I can't fix everything for them. I am sure what you do will never be forgotten. The space away from stress and worry when one is just accepted and allowed to be a kid is often the most important in a child's life.

Forgot my positive - let's see - I don't have to go out to do work today - all here on the computer so I can get more done :)

We had a nice lazy/cosy morning with just the 3 of us, talking, had breakfast, and just hang around. I cooked a batch of food for the fur kids, and watched a movie. Late this afternoon, we went to a restaurant, and had a hot/cold buffet, had some drinks, and laughs, it was good all round.

What a great day! :thumbup:

My positive would be that my hubby and I finished water sealing/staining the deck.
