Good luck with the training Judy.
I think it's almost easier to train them when they are a bit older... I can't believe how well Canada has done... and she's 5!

Tink, I'm so glad that your health has improved! After all the stress you've been under you deserve to have some good news about your health. Just keep it up!!!

judy 01-22-2008 08:03 AM

Tink - what good news! I'm so glad that you have it under control.

Getting the kids out on their own probably had a lot to do with it. They'll be better for it - more independent and proud of themselves, you love the freedom, and your blood pressure went down right away, and your sweet husband can enjoy having you to himself.

It's all good.

Marilyn 01-23-2008 05:13 AM

Tink, just wanted to say how happy to hear your good health news!!! Hope it continues for a very, very long time!!

AngieDoogles 01-27-2008 08:24 AM

My positive- I'm looking forward to spending a fun day with my hubby and friends. :D

Oh, and Obama won by a landslide in SC last night. WOOT!

Janet 01-27-2008 10:32 AM

Way to go Tink! I am happy you're getting your health, life and home back. I am hoping once I get some more of this weight off, I'll be able to cut down on meds like blood pressure, gerd. They said I'll always be on the thyroid so that's okay. Good for you !!!

AngieDoogles 02-12-2008 01:01 PM

The weather is really pretty today and that's put me in a terrific mood. :D :D :D

Janet 02-13-2008 10:12 AM

It's still cold and crappy, but the SUN IS SHINING!!! It's so beautiful!!! I need that sun light!

AngieDoogles 02-13-2008 03:18 PM

It was a crappy day, snowy and rainy, but I got out of class early because of it. :)

I met some friends from work for dinner last night. The staff was having some kind of anti-budget cut meeting at Loki's (a local Brooklyn bar, which is a great place for teachers to hold a staff meeting on Fridays). I got to see a lot of the teachers, who I just love, and then a few of us went for Thai food.

It was really nice to see them. Dinner was fun and it motivated me to call an old friend from the job before this. I'll probably go up to see him at the end of the week. He has a weekend place near where I want to live. I'm probably not telling Jessie - I'm seeing her on March 4th, and too much time together is not good! I need my own life too.

He's a friend, not a flame so don't go getting any hot little thoughts in your heads!

Tink 02-17-2008 10:31 AM

Way to go Judy!
It's great to get out and socialize. This time of year can be so depressing... you're wise to spend time with friends!

It is an absolutely gorgeous day today!!! 74 degrees and sunny. Here are a couple of pictures. The first one is of the golf course behind our house. The other is of a tree in the front yard. It had been rainy yesterday, but today is near perfect!!! I think I'll call a friend who has been wanting to go walk in the city park.

Diana, what she's saying is that you'd be more relaxed in your swim suit in front of him than your dh would be. ;)

And you haven't even been around the past few weeks. I haven't put that thing down! And when I do, it's only to read a tutorial or look at other people's photos. I've become even more obsessed. (You didn't think that was possible, did you?) :p :D

katcarasella 03-21-2008 10:11 AM

My Something Positive is:
I always feel warm and fuzzy after I log onto 4WT. :wavey:

Chandra Amaya 03-21-2008 10:12 AM

my something positive:
Mom's levels are back up and she is feeling well enough to be out shopping today. :D

Janet 03-21-2008 02:37 PM

My positive today is I got done what I wanted to get done today.

AngieDoogles 03-21-2008 04:31 PM

Mom took Brendon and me and my younger brother and sister out to eat tonight. We had Italian then went to Applebee's for the best dessert EVER--triple chocolate meltdown! YUM! The big positive is that she was feeling well enough to go out and enjoy herself.

Janet 03-22-2008 09:54 AM

Triple chocolate meltdown....you're killing me here Angie!!! LOLOL I am such a chocolate freak!

Sounds like a great time for a great family.

Forgivenmom5 03-22-2008 03:42 PM

Janet it was great. I can eat whatever I want now since I don't have chemo for a while. I am going to take advantage of it just in case I have to go back on it after surgery. I will have to go back on Weight Watchers big time after this is all over. The positive is it's almost over.

Janet 03-22-2008 04:25 PM

You bet this is a positive and it's my positive for today too. That my friend Debbie is able to eat whatever she wants. Sure wish I was closer so we could go out and eat together. I'd forget all about WW for one meal with you.

YAY!!! IT'S ALMOST OVER!!!!

Forgivenmom5 03-22-2008 07:38 PM

I would love that Janet!!

katcarasella 03-22-2008 11:33 PM

Positive thing for today is that Debbie can enjoy a beautiful Easter with her loving family!!!!
 To You Debbie! :bunny: :bunny: :bunny: :bunny: :bunny:

AngieDoogles 03-23-2008 06:05 AM

My positive is that it's Easter. Happy Easter!
