My positive is that Jim was able to get a week's vacation to help me get settled while I start my new job.

i just wanted to Thank God Micah's fever came down, now hopefully his strip test comes back negative...

My positive for today is TGIF, one more hour to go at work, i'm leaving early today, running a picking up a pizza, and spending the afternoon with my son....

My positive for today is also that it's Friday :D I'm stressed out at work but at least I'll have the weekend to destress! Tomorrow I'm hosting an end of summer backyard party and barbeque for a bunch of friends, so hopefully that goes well!
And my other positive is that I dress casual for work on Fridays and I'm finally wearing the cute new boots I bought last weekend :D

My positive for today is that we finally found a new vehicle!!! My old Tahoe had 215,000 miles on it and has been giving us some trouble. We found another Tahoe at one of our local dealers and really felt like we got a good deal. I'm really excited!!!! It's a 2004 with 74,000 miles on it.

That's great Diana!!! That's not very many miles for a 2004. I absolutely love my Dodge Caravan, but I'm also thinking of something that gets a little better gas mileage. It's just that I can haul darn near anything when I need to so I may just keep this van for some time yet.
I think Tahoe's are really nice.



My positive is I've had a very productive weekend and got to visit with one of my puppies and her owner.

My positive for today is that Hickory is making progress in leaps and bounds now.
For those who don't know, she has a very sad history. She was severely abused and in a puppy mill type setting before I got her a few months ago. Her original breeder found out how she was being treated, got her back and offered her to me to rehabilitate. She's a lovely chocolate Lab but was so terrified of people that it took weeks before I could touch her, and now months later, she's finally letting others near her. I was thrilled yesterday when dh was able for the first time ever, to pet her and not have her shake in fear.

So today I had company here who wanted to meet the dogs as they plan to buy a pup in the next year. I had Chip and Hickory in the house when they arrived, and she acted frightened when they first came in, but within minutes her tail was wagging and she was giving both the husband and wife kisses. She's gained weight, has begun to shine nicely and is now pregnant with her first litter. She's really blossomed! I was just so proud of her today. She's come a long way from the dog that hid in the back of the dog house shaking just months ago.

That is good news, Tink!! I'm glad to hear that Hickory has come so far!!! You're doing a good job with her!!

That just shows what a caring, patient person you are to bring her out of her shell. Way to go Tink...that's a wonderful accomplishment, for you and for her.

and my positive for today, is that over the weekend, i got Micah all his winter clothes, and shoes, jackets, and went thru his last years stuff, all washed up and hung up,, and ready to go... Glad that job is done...... YA HOOOO !!!!

My positive is that my friend Reba and her fiance have been in town the past few weeks and it's been awesome hanging out with them. Bren and I are looking forward to the summer when they move here! :)

My positive is that we had dinner with our kids tonight and my two year old g-daughter wanted to come home with us. She's such a moma's girl that she would hardly sit on our lap, even though we see her several times a week. But tonight, she wanted to get in the car and go home with us. I'm sure that she would have wanted to go home though about 10 mins down the road! ;)

My positive today is that I had a blast at tonight's wedding and reception!

I have quite a few positives :) I'm still on Christmas holidays until Monday! :D And my roommates are gone for the weekend so I'm making a delicious roast beef supper for my guy tonight and so far it smells delicious :) And finally my dad found a job posting at his company (a crown corporation, so a government job) that is for a civil engineering technologist, so I sent in a resume... if nobody bids from within the company then I have a really good shot at getting it! The pay is $31-37/hr :eek::eek::eek: JUST THINK OF ALL THE SHOES AND PURSES THAT COULD BUY :eek::eek::eek:

Today's positive for me: I shot a bridal show and LOVED it! It was high energy, fun, exciting, and completely different from anything I've ever done before. I really hope to do more of this style of photography in the future. It was a blast...but now I'm exhausted. lol

My positive today was getting to hang out with Brendon and Angie for a little while.
I am reeeeeeeeeeeeally going to miss them when I go back to California. :(

lets see my positive for the day, everyone is in good health, Micah had a little cold but feeling much better this morning, my job is still here, Mike is working 7 days a week so that helps with the bills, and after next pay, all my cc will be paid off, so that's a big plus, cause were going to need a hot water tank soon, and i'll have the money for one...

My positive today is I'm almost caught up on all my work, and even though my very sweet boyfriend is on vacation in Montana, he has been sending me facebook messages at night so that I'm smiling when I wake up and read them in the morning :D

My positive is other than my arm....I'm just feeling good...not sure why...but I am.

My positive is that I'm going to see my women's basketball team play tonight and it is "pink zone" night. Now, you might ask, "What is pink zone?" It is breast cancer awareness. Everyone wears pink - the players even have pink in their special uniforms for the game. There will be groups there with information, coupons for free/reduced cost mammograms and the like. It is a special event! Oh, and I hope we win the game! :D

TODAY: I'm feeling positive because tomorrow's Friday and I need some rest this weekend.
