Any time, Janet, Any time!!! As I've said before I think that Dae Lynn's done. She knows that things are never going to change. If he can't tell the truth about smoking and other little things then he's never going to tell the truth on the big things. And actually she's doing very well with her decision. She knew that this was going to happen. She just had to give him one more chance.

Sorry that Rick's being a baby about the yogurt. Men can be such babies!!!!

DianaB 04-19-2012 06:29 AM

Is Rick feeling any better?

Janet 04-19-2012 07:49 AM

I don't think so. He bought a pack of I think 6-8 small bottles and there are only 3 missing. Really gave that a chance. Plus, I was reading the package and it says nothing about live cultures. So...it will probably end up being thrown out. He still belches all the time, still drinking, and still coughing his fool head off of a morning.

I've given up...until it bothers him enough to go to the Dr. he'll just have to put up with it. It's been very strange for me. I've watched him walk in the yard and he walks like a really old man. I did tell him he needed to go for a really good physical and blood work. I'll just wait and see if he does it. It's his life.

Thank you for asking.

I hope he has the sense to get himself checked out.

Gina 04-20-2012 06:30 PM

Janet I hope that he does go to a dr. There is a idiom that says it all.

You can take lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink! so true!

Janet 04-21-2012 01:02 AM

So true Gina.....and he's the horse in this house!! LOL

Gina 04-21-2012 07:50 AM

LOL Janet I have a horse too!

DianaB 04-21-2012 10:58 AM

Why are men so stubborn? I know that Glen's hard to get to go to the doctor too.

Janet 04-24-2012 01:28 PM

I don't know why they are like that, but it sure is annoying.

Janet 06-27-2013 10:57 AM

Just letting you all know that he's still belching and making all those icky stomach noises and "no"...he hasn't seen a Dr. So, when he comes to the living room, I listen to the gross noises for a few minutes and then head to my room to watch TV. We don't like watching the same thing so it's no big deal.

gja1000 06-28-2013 03:46 AM

Yuk, but as long as you have a way to tolerate it, then I guess it's his body and he can do as he pleases. Men are so like that, to just ignore problems till it comes to a crisis. Does he have any life insurance? LOL!

Janet 06-28-2013 01:33 PM

You're so right Gayle. I've given up telling him he should see a Dr. It's his life....and yes, life insurance is good and paid up....lol.

DianaB 07-03-2013 04:22 PM

I don't understand why men have to be so difficult when it comes to going to the doctor!! The men I know are the same way. Amy's husband was waking up at night and couldn't breathe......he'd be beating his chest so he could take a breath!! FINALLY after a really scary night he went to the doctor. After a sleep study they have determined that he has a REALLY BAD sleep problem!!!??????........That was last week and they are STILL waiting for the doctor to call for an appointment to let him know what's going on!! Jason was really, really bad and still waited to go the doctor!! MEN!!!!!!

Blueyes 07-03-2013 06:38 PM

OMG! My very first thought was that I hope he has lots of life insurance:eek:

Janet, Mike and I don't watch TV together or sleep in the same room. No big problems, we just don't watch the same shows and our sleeping patterns are erratic. Mike likes to fall asleep with the tv on, and I like to quietly read. I do enjoy not hearing (or smelling) those man noises:rolleyes:

Janet 07-04-2013 07:00 AM

Same here Betsi!!! So glad it's more normal than I thought it was. Makes be feel so much better.
