Why not try to soften their hearts a little by writing a letter, remembering past experiences with them and what they mean to you?

Our mamaw really doesn't care for anything sentimental at all, but I'm sure our papaw would love a letter. He's usually much easier to find a gift for.

very true Papaw does get emotional when he isn't being yelled out for being sick ...or breathing. maybe we could do that for him from each of us & use the pics you took at Christmas to make a mini scrapbook. Then just buy her a plant.

So has this event taken place yet? Tell us what happened!

We had a small get together but Traci was sick and couldn't make it. Now my grandfather is very ill and we can't do a big event anymore. We are very scared that he won't be around for very much longer... :( Please keep him in your prayers if you think about it.

Of course I will Angie. I'm glad you were able to have the small get-together, hopefully he'll recover and you'll be able to celebrate big time.
