Then, they finally grow up and are okay, and give you grandchildren. Now granchildren are such a blessing, but they're also a new batch of kids to worry over! It does not end EVER!

Love does not come cheap!
Oh Judy I couldn't agree more.
My granddd Paige is so dear to my heart... yet I worry over her as much as I did her mama. Yesterday she'd learned a hard lesson by overfeeding her new baby bunny that was to be her 4-H project this year. As a result, it died. She said she knows she should have listened and has learned her lesson... but my heart just broke for her.

awww....that is very sad :( This is why I am afraid to get Trinity any other animals. But I know it is a lesson that has to be learned at some point :(

Poor little Paige. It is so hard to watch them when they hurt.

My 6 year old, Brandon, is being tested because he's just not doing
well in his work in school. He is already in kindergarten for the second time. I don't know if he has any learning disabilities, but for 3 of his 6 years, his Mom was in and out of hospitals and in bed. I think he's depressed. I'm glad they're testing him - if there is anything gong on, they'll catch it early. He's just so unhappy in school and doesn't want to go. He thinks he's "different." We're all spoiling him, but ....

My 10 year old, Mackenzie, has a tough time making friends, although she's doing pretty well in her new school. She's the "new girl," and has already made a lot of friends. She has a self esteem problem - I think she also is suffering from the 3 years of my daughter's illness.

My little 5 year old, Kassidy is just fine. She's such a survivor! I always called her my little delight. Of course, she could care less what any of the others have to say.

They will all grow up just fine, God willing. I'll just have a lot more gray hairs. Thank goodness for blond hair dye.

Judy I know what you mean about the illness. My ten year old has had a rough time also. She asked me a couple of months ago if I was sure I would survive cancer. When I was so sick after the chem. She would always stay by me and get anything I needed.

Poor kid! I know how she feels, as well as my grandchildren. My Mom was sick all my life.

You'll be okay much faster, so she'll have an easier time of it.
