Marilyn, I like discussing topics that I see in the News. I use to belong to another site when my daughter wwas little and they had a news forum and everyone was able to discuss it like grown women. I don't see any reason at all that this thread should get ugly. None at all.. That shouldn't even be an issue. Debating, now that is another story. That could get out of hand. It sure would be a boring world if we all agreed on the same things.:) I don't see why we all can't be friends and talk about subjects that we don't agree on.:) Admin has already said that as long as we are civil we can discuss all kinds of topics.

If Obama had problems over a pin then why would he change the emblem on his plane? He surely knew that it was going to cause controversy as well. I'm sorry, Marilyn, but if he does things like this he's going to be talked about!

Politics are so full of red herrings. Unfortunately, the American public buys into it without much thought about the real issues. This is just another example...

Ladies, please for everyone's sake...let's not talk politics. There are some lovely ladies here that all have their own opinions and that's good, but let's not make them feel like we are attacking their choice no matter which candidate it is. If we truly care about one another as we say in our posts...we will all gladly dump this thread.

It was shown in post #8 that Administration would rather we didn't discuss politics. I think in all fairness, we need to follow Admins. advice.
