Oh Judy, what a cute puppy! She's so teeny tiny! Just adorable!
Your family looks great too! It's so nice to see you all looking so happy together! |
So - let me tell you about Tiny Annie. She is the littlest dog, with such a joyful personality. When I let her out of her ex Pen, she goes scurrying around into every spot she can find, and she's faster than the speed of right! Such puppy energy! She cries when I leave the room and wants to come out of there a lot. The first time she saw Max, she started to growl and bark at him. Don't think he didn't back away!
I take her out every couple of hours for a while. Now, she loves Max and follows him everywhere. She can actually walk underneath his belly! He has warmed up to her much faster than I expected, although he's still not thrilled. I was holding him before and she ran over and tried to get him. When I put him down, she tried to beat him up. He's good with her - he leaves rather than getting into anything with her. She weighs 2 lbs. 9 oz. at last weight in. She's a little love, gives Yorkie kisses and I'm just so happy with her. I have to really get used to such a tiny. She just managed to jump from a pillow onto the couch. It's scary, because if she falls off, she can get hurt. What a little doll! I did the right thing getting her so soon. Of course, I'll always wish Gracie was still here, and I am still heartbroken. But, Annie Leigh has won my heart, and that's always wonderful. Jessie and the kids ca,me over Friday night with a cake and some puppy presents. It was wonderful! I have her in the ex-pen, but to be honest with you, I don't know how to crate train a dog. I'm used to saying "no, bad girl" when she makes a mistake, and doing the dance of j9y and giving a treat when she gets it right. I do have to put her in the ex pen a lot though. If I can't keep an eye on her, she's much to small to9 be running around. |
My spelling is so awful!

It's been quite some time since I crate trained one. I would put them in the xpen because I wanted to get them use to going on the paper. I would start with the papers pretty much covering the floor, then every couple of days taking one a way until there was only one left. Now that mine are older, they do great in the crate.
When you crate train them, you leave them in there except to potty and to play and eat. I don't really like doing that myself, but seems that once they're older they crate train easier because they can hold it and don't want to soil their bedding. Who knows what's right...LOL...all I know is she is the cutest little girl and sooo tiny. I just love her little face!!! |
She is really gorgeous!!! Gosh, makes me want another baby!!! LOL! :)

Judy. congrats on little Annie. I'm so happy for you. She is adorable. Did you get her from a breeder off Yorkie Talk? Elaine

Judy, Annie is so adorable!!!! I just love the second picture of the two of you!!!!! I'm so jealous because I would love to get a female (maybe sometime soon!). You could tell that the kids were pretty excited about her too!! I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures of her as she grows!
To crate train, you have to fill the crate up with boxes or something that makes their space small enough that they can only lay down or stand. If you give them too much room then they'll make a potty spot in a corner or somewhere. If they only have a small amount of space they won't use the bathroom where they lay down and it teaches them to hold their badder, of course you have to take them outside every couple of hours or so expecially when they're so young. I did this with Reuger and it worked really good. |
*oooohs and ahhhhhs* Congratulations Judy, what an adorable baby to add to your beautiful family.
I hope she can help you through your pain. Totally off subject, but you remind me of Hot Lips from the Mash movie lol |
