Sometimes it takes a while to get the right blood pressure medication and the right dosage. Sometimes it takes two or even three different medications (at the same time) to get a really hard to control blood pressure down. Don't fret about it - that makes it worse. Just keep a close eye on the pressure, do exactly what you did - call if it gets high, and work with your PCP. She'll get it under control, don't worry. Blood pressure is one of the easier things to get regulated.

Think about the things you love the most......Or the silly things you'd love to do. Then when you get to feeling better you can do them. For Instance for me I can't wait to get rid of this catheter so I can go to the bathroom like a normal woman. I know that may sound silly but that's what I'm praying for for myself.
