Thanks...I hope she makes the right decision too, but she's headed to Florida tomorrow. My SIL drives her down and then flies back. Hopefully while she's there she can help get Mom's appointments set up.

I'll be praying for their safe travels, and that your mom does what she needs to do to get good medical care while she is there!!!

Janet I am sorry to hear that your mom's condition is getting worse and that she needs dialysis. She is one stubborn lady but I have to hand it to her, she wants to live life to the fullest and seems that she will not let this condition stop her. God bless her!

I know that dialysis has changed in the last thirty years since my brother was on it.. but it does drain a person after each treatment. I hope that she realizes all this if she needs to go on sooner than April... Janet your mom is in my prayers as you and your family...

It is good to know that your SIL will be driving her down and setting up appts. that is nice of her..

I hope that your Mom has a good trip to Florida and is able to find a doctor and a friend that will take her under their wing and care for her. She's a very special lady.

I've missed me being here, too! It was just so hard to get through the holidays without my Mommy. I think that taking the tree down and having my last day of vacation yesterday started getting me back into the work rut and out of my "poor me" rut.

Well, Christmas is gone from out house, too. Tree is at the county brush site, all the decorations are put away. We took the lights out of the front yard this morning and even trimmed the trees. Looks much better outside and in. The house looks much plainer though without the tree and decorations. Lots more space though.

I changed my avatar from Happy New Year because it feels like it's time to move on and get busy living the new year.
