I'm feeling better than I did the other day, but I still hurt. My joints still hurt and are tender but better. The medicine seems to be helping. The bottle said that it could take up to 2 weeks to feel the full effect. For some reason I have times where my pain is very acute. Hopefully we'll learn more from the tests that we're having done. I have to go back on the 7th.

glad to hear you are feeling better, hopefully in those 2 weeks the pain will be gone for good!!!

Diana....I wish you weren't hurting at all. Why does it have to take so long to find out results. That always drives me crazy.

You are right Janet, there's a huge disconnect between ordering lab and then the patient getting the results. I really don't like it!!!

I don't think that it takes so long to get the results because if there were a huge problem they'd give me a call to come in. What takes so long is getting the appointment to come in!!! The receptionist has to leave room in the schedule for people who need to come right in and the rest are scheduled a little further out.

I don't hurt as bad as I did the other day, but for some reason my side is hurting. It's like around the lower part of my ribs. I took some ibuprofen so we'll see if it works. The pain doesn't stay in one place but moves around. Weird, isn't it?

judy 06-26-2009 01:41 PM

That is weird! I hope it stops altogether very soon!

Janet 06-26-2009 01:45 PM

That is a little weird Diana. At least all my aches and pains stay in one place.....LOL. You're the traveler... :)

How are you feeling today Diana?

DianaB 06-27-2009 02:02 PM

Much, much better. I have a few very small twinges but overall I feel better than I have been.

I got the results for my mamogram and everything's alright with that one!! Yay!!!

I always say "Thank you God" when I get good results for the mammo and the pap smear!

So, "Thank you God" that Diana's test is good.

Glad you are feeling better and I second Judy on the mammo/pap results!
