It's kind of like estimating the cost of a pound of fish when you spent $20K on the boat and tackle = PRICELESS, right?!
OMG!!! If I were to estimate the cost of a pound of fish my husband caught - I would be bawling my eyes out! LOL!! We've had THREE boats (and motors) - COUNTLESS fishing rods and reels, including freshwater, saltwater, and fly fishing and other fishing related items too numerous to mention. LOL LOL LOL!!!
And that's just fishing!! Let's not forget about the price per pound of venison!!! Hunting lease, NEW guns, bullets, 4-wheeler, deer stands, deer feeders, MORE camo...aren't deer colorblind???...snakeproof boots, disk to pull behind the 4-wheeler to make a food plot, seed and fertilizer for THAT, just ONE MORE gun, hunting licence, OH..and maybe now he should start BOW hunting:eek::eek:
OK...rant over! Seriously, does anybody want my husband:rolleyes:??? |
My husband's a duck hunter so I can relate to all of this. The price of guns, ammo, waders, licenses, boat, decoys, etc. I don't even want to think of what it costs per pound!!!! I'd be like Gayle.......bawling my eyes out!!!
But on the other hand, I have some things that I don't want my husband to figure out the prices I have invested!!!! My scrapbooking..................the price per page that I have done compared to what I've spent.........................Let's just say we're probably about even!!!!! LOL |
We all have our toys!
Oh yes Diana! You are right about duck hunting and any other sort of hunting and fishing! And Sandy is right too, we all have our toys!!!
Guess you're right. With us it's movies, tv and sound equipment, Harleys and vintage cars. At least when we sell the Harleys and cars we may get some of our money back. :o
