Janet I spoke with her daughter earlier.. they did not operate still running a fever.. Hopefully next Tues. She has a staph infection and until that is cleared up they won't operate.. Gayle would know more... It is a shame the drs. are really concerned her blood pressure is low.. This is terrible...

I'm so sorry to hear that, but first thing first.

I am still praying for her Gina. At least she is in the hospital, being taken care of.

I'm glad the Drs. are being cautious Gina, not wanting to take any chances.

It is very hard to wait for the surgery, since the blood pressure is so low, but they can't take the risk of the surgical site (including the heart) becoming infected. That would be devastating. There are good medications that should be able to keep her blood pressure up till they can do the surgery.

I like to give you a quick update... Thank you for all your prayers, it worked! she has been through hell and back.. But she is now home and she has a long road to recovery but she made it and is home with her family.. I pray that each day is a better day for her.. Thanks again!
