Now my grown niece tells me that Kirby is a great name for a girl, but a little "fruity" for a boy:rolleyes: I'm thinking about Packer, since he is from Wisconsin- home of the Green Bay Packers.

That's a cute name.....Packer!!!! I like it!!!!

gja1000 07-23-2010 02:09 PM

Oh I like Packer (and Kirby too).

How about Dell - for the Wisconsin Dells. I was gonna say "Cheese" but no, I don't think so! :p

Blueyes 07-23-2010 02:20 PM

Mike suggested that, too. I don't know why I haven't been able to make a decision about this. It's very unlike me:rolleyes:

Now my son says it can't be Packer because "it means something else, Mom" Geez... I'm naming him Kirby. I really like it, and Mike likes it ok, and ya'll like it :)

Just one more suggestion although I really like Kirby. Since he will be a therapy dog and people will be really happy to see him, why not name him Happy. You could say, "Here comes Happy"!

Blueyes 07-23-2010 06:35 PM

That's cute Gayle!

Kirby is a good name!

Blueyes 07-24-2010 06:21 AM

Thanks! Even if this dog never does a day of therapy work, he has already been wonderful therapy for ME!! I miss my kids so much.

Awww Betsi!! You are going to enjoy your new puppy so much! I know you must be so anxious to get him.

I know that you must miss your kids alot! How are they doing? Are they adjusting to their new environment pretty well?

I think 'Happy' is such a cute name for a therapy dog. I like Kirby too...I really like Packer alot...what else does it mean Betsi?

Blueyes 07-24-2010 03:24 PM

Umm..something about a homosexual man. I believe the term is 'fudge packer' It could just be a Seattle thing:rolleyes:

Nope. Not just Seattle. I've heard that slang before, but I didn't think about it at all till you mentioned your son said Packer had an alternative meaning. LOL!

Janet 07-25-2010 02:58 AM

Not heard that one...lol. Better leave "Packer" out of the list...lol
