I like it much better here too, but I do check in there everyday. It's different.
|
Yesterday, I found a dear cousin on Facebook and connected with two of my Hubby's nieces! I just started typing in names, looking for people. I'm still not "addicted" to it, but I do like looking at other people's pictures.
|
I'm not addicted either. Like I said before, it's a little too slow for me. I much prefer to be on here.
|
I am not addicted either, find most of it boring, the pokes, the invitations, etc.
|
I only go on once or twice a week. It's a great way to keep in touch with my family, share pictures with them, and so on. I also like sharing memories of growing up in my neighborhood with some people I knew and some I honestly don't remember. It's a lot of fun sharing "the old days."
I accept friend requests only. I can't figure out all of the other stuff. |

I know what you mean Gayle. I have accepted some things. I just get sent soooo much stuff...lol. I like Facebook though...it's kind of fun. I want to find more people from my past......but I can't remember their names....lol....just their faces. Man I hate getting old!!!
I saw the info about the worm on TV so I make sure I don't open any videos....plus I haven't been sent any. I'm on at least once every day...sometimes more....I think it's kind of interestiing. |
Facebook
[quote=gja1000;89392]I'm glad I'm not the only one that can't figure out all the other stuff! LOL!!! I haven't been accepting anything because when I try to, I get this caution message that my information will be "out there" or shared with others (or something, can't remember exactly. LOL) and so I don't accept, I just ignore. If I actually knew what that caution message meant, I might be OK - not sure. There was something on CNN the other day about a worm on facebook and if you open videos and it asks you to download an application to see the video - don't do it because it contains a worm. Things like that make me soooo nervous!!![/quote
I saw that also about the worm. You had to download something, I can't remember either but I was careful not to change anything. |
I am on it too . KalaiVinit is the ID. Its easier to keep in touch with friends and share pics and what not.
|
I'm enjoying it more and more all the time.
|
I to am starting to ignore all those goodie stuff.. It just gets so out of hand. lol and I don't want to get a worm. I don't open up downloads ...
They are having a high school reunion for my year in the summer, I can't wait to go its been a long time. It is fun finding old friends.. |
I just found an old high school friend that I haven't seen in 20 years or so! THAT part is a lot of fun!
I also found an old boyfriend  Actually, he was in love with me - me with him, not so much! LOL! I think of him as one of my best high school buds, he always wanted more, but it was not to be. |
I'm on there as well, and I'm hooked on Yoville.
It's a virtual world where I have an apartment, job, and a yorkie. You go to work in the Widget Factory every 6 hours to work for 5 seconds, collect your Yo coins, I'm up to 300 coins per shift. Then I go shop for furniture and goodies for my apartment. I don't accept any of the requests I get because I'm afraid as well, but have been playing around in Yoville for over a month now and have had no problems with that application. You'd all be surprised to see all the mutual friends we have on there...(YoVille) If you're not on my friend list yet, feel free to add me to yours. Kathy Carasella |

I think I have friendships with everyone here who is on Facebook. If not, I'm Judy Bloom there.
