My positive for today is that I got my Christmas tree up yesterday!!!! Yeah!!!!

Don't forget to post pics Diana of your tree. :) I won't be getting to ours until this weekend. Id do it now being I dont have much going on today but I need hubby's help getting stuff from the attic. Plus...I for the life of me can't figure out where it's going to fit in our living room this year. My oh my!! :confused:

Oh, and the positive for today? Hmmmm don't have one yet but later today I might. :D

I'll get some pictures later for you. I still have some decorating to do. With Reuger being sick I haven't gotten much else done but take care of him. We had a "slave auction" at church with our youth group and Jaci is bringing home the girl that I paid for to help put up decorations. Hopefully we'll get a lot done.

Slave auction? That sounds pretty darn interesting. I sure wish I could have been in on that auction as id love to have help w/ all this decorating.

I sure hope Reuger gets to feeling better real soon.

Tink - I'm so glad you made it to the party. It sounds like you could have some family fun while you're all snowed in there. As long as everyone is okay and safe....

Janet - Thank goodness he's okay! His first accident? It's so scary when they get their own cars. When Jessie got hers, I had a long talk with my guardian angels and gave it over to God.

I spent most of the afternoon yesterday wrapping Christmas gifts. Thank goodness I got them all done. That's a job I do not enjoy, so am glad to have behind me.

I have one more gift to buy then am done with that too. Unless something else comes up between now and then, which it usually seems to! lol

My positive for the day...... I found my Christmas spirit! :)

Oh, I forgot to say that my positive for today is that Reuger's is much, much better!!!!!

Today is the last day of regular classes! (Exams next week and then we're done!)

Another positive today!
Long story short, dh covered most of our totes full of Christmas decorations last spring with a huge stack of wood flooring, so we haven't been able to get at them.
So I stopped in town today determined to find something to put on our tree. Dollar General had boxes upon boxes of 4" ceramic head dolls and angels at half price, blue and white gingham 2" wide ribbon and packages of 1" silver bells, so I'm going to have a very different decor this year but I think it'll be as fun as it is unique!

I'll post photos when it's done.

So right after I got home with all these goodies, Joel goes out and digs more, and brings in 4 large totes of decorations! It's going to look like Christmas here after all! :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
