fun topic
I guess things that people might not know are
I could read all alone by age 4 (this freaked people out because I have always been really small for my age, so it looked like some 3 year old was reading the offensive things on people t shirts lol)
Even though I'm small, I've always been the bully, not the bullied lol
I'm really honest, and hate lying, and I honestly don't lie often. I have never spoken poorly behind someones back and not told them how I felt to their face.
I'm hungry!

Let's see...my life has been so boring!!!!!

1. I took piano lessons for 6 years
2. I got a piano/voice scholarship for college.
3. I lost my scholarship after a semester because I joined a sorority and stopped doing my school work.
4. My first husband was abusive.
5. I was raised an only child but I have a half brother that lives in Germany.
6. My step-brother (my dad's wife's child) is wanted by the FBI.
7. I don't like my stepmother...she thinks her and her children are perfect and always ragged on me but yet, her son is in trouble and her daughter hasn't spoken to her in years.

You might not have known...

Almost every week before my husband leaves he gets very crabby and critical. He finds it easier to leave if he's mad at us than if he's not, so acts up; then convinces himself it's US that caused it. This has gone of for years. For the most part I simply ignore it since I know where it comes from.

I'm gonna add some more..
-I have two sets of drums
-I am learning to ride a sportbike
-I eat chips EVERY DAY
-I used to get in trouble for doing my brother's math homework for him when he was in Grade 2 and I was in Kindergarten
-My cousin just asked me to be her daughter's godmother

You might not have known.......that I've had super-long hair all my life until May 2005 when I donated 11 1/4 inches to Locks of Love. A year later, I cut off another 12 1/4 inches....so in 1 year (+1 mo.) time, I donated TWO FEET of hair to Locks of Love.

Now it's been 9 months since my last big haircut, and my hair is a tad big below my shoulders. I'm well on my way to growing it long to donate it again....maybe?

Have any of you donated your hair to Locks of Love? (or is my asking this question hijacking this thread? lol)

Tink 04-05-2007 07:12 PM

Well done on the locks of love donations!

I haven't donated, but I did suggest it to my granddaughter who ended up donating to it. She had a cousin who was only a yr older than her who lost her hair to chemo, so she was proud to be able to share her hair with another child.

My grandbabies are blessed with unusually thick, fast growing hair from birth. Paide was 6 when she donated and had plenty to share and still have a cute bob. Aubri, who will be 2 in May, has hair past her waist already that's thick and wavy... just gorgeous!

I love the program and encourage people to donate whenever I can.

:bravo: to your granddaughter for donating!!! It's a huge sacrifice, and for me, it was a very emotional one, but to know it's going for a good cause and going ahead with it is really one of the best feelings in the world.

I'm "addicted" to doing it now! Any other haircut feels "wasteful" to me. LOL!

You might not have known that I am actually pretty shy in real life...though it probably doesn't seem like it on the forum, lol.

I want to travel to as many countries as possible.

I play violin and a bit of piano.

Hmm...I can't really think of anything else. I'm pretty boring. :p

AngieDoogles 04-06-2007 03:05 PM

Oh, I forgot something that I should have put on that list. I LOVE outdoors stuff. Rock-climbing and rappelling are two of my favorite things to do. This is why I love working as a camp counselor so much. I get to spend time with kids and be a kid myself at the same time. I got to do archery, tubing, playing in the river, climbing the sides of mountains, doing challenge courses 60 feet in the air, and lots of other fun stuff! :)

1. I got married the first time at 17. (big mistake)
2. I met my second husband through a friend on the internet & he was (& still is) my knight in shining armor.
3. all of my kids have 2 middle names. I started it with my oldest & didn't want the other three to feel left out. Damon Joseph Charles, Cheyenne Destiny Starr, Sebastian Christain Dominique & Sydney Faith Danielle.( All of their names have a meaining behind them as well but I didn't want to bore you. )
4. We are considering getting a dog. They have to be under 30 lbs so I'm pushing for a yorkie Thanks to the so cute pics I've seen here & Marty (Angie's yorkie)

Oh my goodness!!! I didn't know you were thinking of getting a Yorkie!! That's awesome! I must warn you though, they are very fragile and might not work out very well with 4 kids. But they are definitely precious. If you do decide to get one, you might want to try to get the biggest one you can find because they will be less likely to be accidentally injured by one of the kids. A few pounds can make a huge difference.

Let me know how things go!
