I know this is a terrible time, but I'm glad to read you are holding up well. Siblings can be real buttheads for sure at the most inopportune time. I think sometimes its the stress that makes us all do things we later regret. I'm keeping you in my prayers Sandy.

Oh Sandy, I'm just now reading about your Mother. I'm so very sorry  The right words always seem to fly out the window in these situations but know that I care and you're in my thoughts and prayers. You're a good daughter and you did all that you knew to do for your parents. We're not God and we can't see the future on what will or won't work. You did your best and take comfort in that! Don't let anyone tell you or make you feel otherwise.

My Mom's critical
I am so sorry that you lost your Mom.
Sometimes, family members don't agree with everything. When through that when my Mom passed. Will be praying for you to be strong. |
Sandy, losing a parent is so hard; it often brings out the worst in people in ways we'd never imagine. I hope your sister rethinks her actions and decides to act better.
In my opinion, signing someone off of life support is one of the hardest, yet kindest things we can do when there's only suffering left. It's easier to hang on for our sake than to release someone for their own sake... it is truly a last act of love. What your Mom had is a horrible thing to battle. Many lose that fight and I believe you did the kindest and most loving thing you could have done in that situation. I sincerely hope that my family would be that considerate if I ever end up in that position. HUGS |
