I had the kind of skates that clamped on your shoes but didn't have any where to skate. I finally learned how to skate in my teens when our church group went skating.

TPBM used to jump rope at recess in grade school.

True!!! With "kick the can" you have one person cover their eyes like in "hide and go seek" and everyone hides. There is also a can ...... The person who hides their eyes goes and tries to find the people hiding. When one of the people hiding runs to try and kick the can...the person who covered their eyes tries to run back and kick it first. Lots of bruised shins on this one but one of our favorite dusk time games.

Just one. I have a cousin that I was close to when I was growning up and I was her matron of honor. Sadly, we don't do anything together any more but she is on FB now.
