Thanks ladies
Janet, she's the one that did all the hard work. I offered her love, but she's the one who dared to accept it. Given her history, she had every reason not to. I'm just SO proud of her!

You are a wonderful dog person Tink. She responded to your nurturing. I'm so happy for you and for her. I'd have to say that God put you two together.

She is a beautiful dog too!

I thought with it being a new year, this thread should be revived! :)

My positive is that my friend Reba and her fiance have been in town the past few weeks and it's been awesome hanging out with them. Bren and I are looking forward to the summer when they move here! :)

My positive is that we had dinner with our kids tonight and my two year old g-daughter wanted to come home with us. She's such a moma's girl that she would hardly sit on our lap, even though we see her several times a week. But tonight, she wanted to get in the car and go home with us. I'm sure that she would have wanted to go home though about 10 mins down the road! ;)

I have quite a few positives :) I'm still on Christmas holidays until Monday! :D And my roommates are gone for the weekend so I'm making a delicious roast beef supper for my guy tonight and so far it smells delicious :) And finally my dad found a job posting at his company (a crown corporation, so a government job) that is for a civil engineering technologist, so I sent in a resume... if nobody bids from within the company then I have a really good shot at getting it! The pay is $31-37/hr :eek::eek: JUST THINK OF ALL THE SHOES AND PURSES THAT COULD BUY :eek::eek:

Janet 01-03-2009 03:18 PM

Keeping my fingers crossed for you Lindsey..

Lindsey 01-03-2009 03:25 PM

Thanks Janet! I've been wanting to leave my company for awhile now, and I've been looking specifically at my dad's company, so it's great that this opportunity came up!
