I lit a candle. There was only 3 lit.
Mom looked and felt really good yesterday. The only thing that is really getting to her now is feeling tired. Hopefully that will pass soon too. But overall, she's doing GREAT! :)
Mom is out shopping for Easter and upcoming birthdays since she has been "grounded" for the past week. She is doing well as Angie said, she just feels tired. Just lit our candles again. up to 9 now.
Oh, I'm soo happy, she's getting some fresh air and sunshine. It'll do her good!
I am doing really well. I over did it a little today. i am working part time so after work I went shopping. I was so tired I thought I couldn't make it to the car. I came home and rested for a few hours and was fine after that. Well enough to go out to eat with the family for my son's birthday. (we had started out on his birthday last week whrn the doctor called and told me levels were too low). Thank all of you for your concern and encouragement.
Glad you're feeling better mom. It was nice to spend some time with you and the kids. :)
Glad you're feeling better Debbie. Just don't overdo it. Maybe when you take a day out to shop you can stop at a cute little place to eat a bite and rest and then finish your shopping. We love you here and just want you to get well.
That's what I did today Janet. My ten-year old and I went to finish up the shopping and get everything for tomorrow's dinner. We went to the Mcdonalds in Walmart and got something. A couple of other times during the morning I just found a bench and sat down for a few minutes. Noit what I am used to but it works for now. I am starting to do some of the cooking tonight so tomorrow won't be too hectic. My son put our new grill together and cooked our dinner on it for me so that helped. I am just thankful I am able to enjoy it. I had chemo the day before Thanksgiving so this is so much better.

I hope you're having a nice weekend. :hands:

I am feeling better. Still a little tired but so much better than with the chemo. I have to thank God for the chemo though. It really shrunk the cancer quite a bit so the surgery should be a lot more succesful than it would have been.
My whole family is praying for you, and I have a huge family, lots of prayer coming your way.
Thanks Kat! That's the only thing that has got me this far.
*hugs* mom you are sooo close to being through with this. I know it must be scary to think of the surgery, but just remember that you have been through having five kids so this is nothing. This is both an end and a beginning. An end to the the days of felling tired and sick, but a new beginning. A begin of feeling good again. Finally feeling like yourself again. A beginning of healing, not only physically, but emotional as well. A new start with a cancer free life. I love you, mom.
I'm saying a prayer for you too.
Thanks everyone! I even worked a full 8 hours today to help close out the month. I have been working only 4. I was tired but not near as bad as I thought it would be.

Debbie,
It is so good to see you posting again, and feeling better. Traci's post is so lovely! I'm going to light a candle for you to continue to feel well breeze through the surgery, have an easy recuperative period, and be rid of that stupid cancer! |
Thanks Judy! That's what I am looking forward to. I amy still have to have some chemo and most likely will have radiation but I think after the surgery the worst will be over.
:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: I'm so glad you've been here more often too. You know we'll all be cheering you on and praying that this cancer goes aways and stays away!!:) |

I love this song Diana. Our Youth group and children used to sing it. I had not thought of it in relation to what I am going through but it does fit. I printed off the lyrics to look at when I need to. Thank you.

Deb, you have been in my thoughts and prayers ever since I got out of bed this morning. Just remember that God is the great Physician! You are like the woman who reached out to touch the hem of His garment. Touch the hem, accept the healing, and give Him praise. Love ya' and I'm praying.

Debbie, I have you in my prayers. You'll get through this and we're here for you.
