Ladies....I'm just not understanding it ..lolol. I have added a couple things, but not real sure of the intent of this site. Do any of you really understand it all enough to explain it to me?:confused:

In my opinion.....Pinterest is a way of using the internet and finding just what is out there. They have pictures with ideas......and you can pin them to your page......then later you can go back and look it up on the internet......The site will have directions on how to make what the picture shows......or is a place where you can order fashions....or what ever!!

I've been looking at a lot of craft things to get some cheap ideas for Christmas. I have one project that I'm making with Karlie for Dae Lynn and I have another one that I'm going to do. Plus there are activities to do with the kids. What ever you're interested in.

You look at other people's boards......click to follow their whole board or just a folder. The more people you are following the more ideas are presented for you to look at.

You make your own folders to place ideas in as they pertain to you. Check out my stuff if you want to.

Okay...I'll check yours out and some others.

It's been great for me with decorating ideas. Can't/won't do ideas I might like, but I might get to do some. Love love some of the gardening ideas.

How do you find some one and follow them? I checked the 'help' but it doesn't say or else I missed it.

I joined Pinterest. I have to wait until I have time to see what it is.

I've joined too, for wedding ideas. I haven't really checked it out yet though!

There are sooo many great wedding ideas, Lindsey. I enjoy just looking at things and getting ideas!

I just start clicking on peoples names and see what they have that's interesting then I click on the folders that I want to follow. There are a few people that I click on follow all but not too many. The more people you follow the more ideas are presented to you.

You can also search for what you're interested in. Lindsey can put in wedding and have wedding stuff come up and get ideas that way.

I can't remember if I mentioned it or not but Karlie and I have made salt dough hand prints and a foot print of Dean's to give to Dae Lynn for Christmas. They ended up a little too big for ornaments but still she'll like them. Karlie helped me paint them and I think that I'm going to let the kids write their name......Dean's will be interesting!!! and then I'm going to spray a finish on them and tie a ribbon on them. They'll be cute!!

Then I'm also going to make a hand picture using both of the kids hand shapes. I bought a frame yesterday to put them in. I love the ideas on Pinterest!!

I think I'm getting the hang of it!

Even though I'm finding lots of great ideas...I doubt I'll do any of them....LOLOL. I've been needing to make the boys some more belly bands for quite some time now, but haven't gotten that done yet. Some things I just keep putting off, but I'm not going to be able to put this off too much longer.

I have been Pinterest-ing like crazy for wedding ideas :D

I've done some salt dough hand prints of the kids for Dae Lynn. I'm almost finished with them.

Then I have a couple of other ideas to make from there.....if I have time. I'm feeling a time crunch since we're having Christmas on Friday evening with the kids.

I have not seen the barefoot sandals on Pinterest! I have seen them advertised around here though for beach vacations!

One thing I found on a wedding forum and now I'm finding on Pinterest is string balls :) I bought some stuff for it at a craft wholesale place with Scott's mom on the weekend. I'm going to do some trials and see how they turn out! I have this vision of a bunch of little teal and black string balls scattered on the tables between the vases and candles at the reception :)

I hadn't been on Pinterest for quite some time and finally got on last night. WOW....Diana...you've been busy it seems...lol. I'm glad you're enjoying it and it looks like you're getting some great ideas. I repinned some for myself...:)

Good!! I'm really enjoying Pinterest!! I have several ideas that I want to do I've also tried a few recipes.....especially some low carb ones.

There are so many things I would like to try too, but finding time is another thing. I still need to make some belly bands for the boys, there are literally falling apart they are so old, but I just haven't had the ambition to get it done.

I know how you feel. I'm having trouble getting much done too. I think it's the "After Christmas Blahs"!!! I spent so much energy getting Christmas ready that it's hard to keep going.......January is break time!!!

There's some really cute ideas for Valentine's day that I'm thinking about doing with Karlie instead of buying Valentines. We'll see.......

This morning after I checked what was going on on the computer, I decided I would start getting ready to make the belly bands. So...I go get my sewing box down and saw Mom's in the same closet. So I sat on the floor in my bedroom and went through and combined things and then threw out was not needed any longer. Then, I cleaned out the box that had my material in it and then cleaned out the box that has my craft supplies in it...lol. One job turned into more. Anyway, it's all organized now so maybe I can start making some tomorrow.

Janet......you are SO organized!!! My daughter, Amy, is like that too!!!

Sometimes it can be a curse Diana. Seems like that is why it takes me so long to get one thing done....it turns into multiples of things. I'm so nutso that while I'm typing I'm sitting here wishing it was warm enough to clean out the garage so I can start organizing things here in the house better. Instead of keeping everything in the house, I can put it in marked tubs out in the garage. Come on spring!!!!

My house would be a torment for you Janet. I'm so disorganized :o But I can always find what I'm looking for. Now if someone cleans/organizes my stuff I get so mad because I can't find anything.

That's the way my pantry is.......the girls cleaned it out as a Christmas gift......to GLEN, I might add........and now I'm having trouble finding things!! It is so nice and organized but things are not put where I would have put them.......so we've called Amy several times to find out where she put things!!!
