I posted a picture of some Robins on FB the other day and you could hardly see the birds. I made the comment that I wished my phone had a zoom. I had tried when I first got my phone to see if it had a zoom, even checking online to no avail. Even tried just playing with the phone.

So...our ever wise Gayle, mentioned that if I had an iPhone that I did have a zoom. So, I played with it for about two minutes and I'll be darn...I have a zoom...lol. Don't know why I couldn't figure it out before. Guess I just needed more experience with my phone. I absolutely love this phone!!!! :D

Lol! Someone told me too, Janet or I wouldn't have known either. The picture quality is reduced when you zoom a lot, but a little zoom is perfect.

I love my iPhone too. I'm on my second iPhone and I'm going to get my 3rd, a 5, pretty soon.

Janet, do you know that you can take a picture of whats on your screen? Push the round button and the power button on the top right corner at the same time :)

Oh, I set mine so that it flashes when I get a notification along with the tone. That way if you have it turned down you can still see it. Go to settings>general>accessibility>then turn on LED flash for alerts. If it bugs you, you can always turn it off.

I'm loving this....how did you find out how to do all these things?

Lol, my sons, dil's, nieces, friends have iPhones! I also mess with mine alot and find out things! What apps do you have?

I have the normal ones ......plus: Reminders, Weather, The Weather Channel, Flashlight, ShopShop, MyJournal, Pandora, MyFitnessPal, QRReader, RedLaser, WebMD, Find iPhone, Police Scanner and then some games. Any real cool ones I should know about?

I have FANDANGO...it's for movies. YELP is one of my favorites..it finds restaurants, stores, anything you are looking for along with ratings and directions. PINTEREST. GOOGLE EARTH. HEY TELL works sort of like a walkie talkie. iTRIAGE. INSTAGRAM for pictures. GROUPON.

I am loving all these tips you posted. One of these days we'll just have to say into our phone...."beam me up Scotty".... LOL

My phone company is wanting me to upgrade but the new phones don't get as good of receiption as I get on my Razr. Plus Glen would not be happy if I got anything that added an additional charge to my phone.......so NO smart phone!!
