So, how many kids do you guys have? Not talking about furbabies, either!;)

I have a daughter that is 11 (and will be the death of me) and a son that is 5 (will be 6 next month.

Here they are with London (this summer).

Amber_lv 09-10-2006 07:49 PM

I have 1 boy, he's 15. He's very sweet, we get on very well. He loves to go out and do things with me. I love the way he backs me up if someone tries to cross me, he's great. :)

Our son is 15 years old and the light of our lives. He's not into playing sports, but likes to watch. He's into weight lifting right now and loves Scouting. He's working on his Eagle badge. He has until age 18 to get it, but he's way ahead of schedule. He loves anything with wheels and motors, and anything to do with the out of doors.

I don't have any kids at the moment. I am a newlywed and still too young in my opinion to have children. I want hubby and I to both have established careers before we introduce children into the mix. I want a big family, though. At least 4 kids, God willing.

I have 3 kids, youngest daughter 15, son 19 and in college, daughter 22 in college and pregnant. They are the highlight of my life and i wouldn't change a thing about them. Well maybe a couple of things ha ha just kidding. And I can't wait to be a grandma. I just wish this world would get better. It really scares me how things can really go bad.;)

linnylou 09-14-2006 03:41 AM

i have 2 wonderful kids my daughter Sian is 14 and is growing into a beautiful young lady i am very proud of her many of her peers have taken to smoking and drinking and frankly some of them are sleeping with boys so far she has steered away from all that she is a credit to me, my son Jack is 11 and has just started senior school he too is a wonderful young man and i am blessed to have them both in my life, just one question are husbands considered kids? because if they are i have 3! i also have a cat called Jazz 3 gorgeous furbabies and a mixed breed doggie who is 10 years old

Luv2Teach 09-14-2006 03:44 AM

I don't have any kids of my own yet. I am with 20 kids for 6+ hours everyday, that's enough for now.

Eventually, sooner than later, I'd love to have my own kids.

Great picture!!! They look like a fun group. I wish I could have had a daughter also. I think it would have been so much fun. But hey, my son is my shining light.

Your baby is so precious. I know you are enjoying her, and you are in for a lot more fun!! Take time to cherish every minute. It does go by so fast.

Thank you! Yes, I love spending time with her even though she does throw a good tantrum once in awhile! lol! I can't believe how fast it goes!! It just seems like yesterday that I brought her home from the hospital! Now she runs everywhere & won't let me hold her for more then 10 seconds! lol!:p Wouldn't trade it for the world though!:teeth:

I know, even with a son, I worry when he's out of sight, but we have to let them out once in awhile. I just remind him to always "think" and "be safe." Those are always the last things I tell him whenever he leaves..plus that "I love him." When they started the other thread about the greatest fears...I wrote about being afraid of birds..but my biggest fear, really, would be something happening to him. Don't think I'd be able to make it through it.

I understand. My biggest fear is that the phone will ring and one of our daughers or my husband is gone. Makes me tear up just typing the words. Life is so fragile. For this reason, we must always be prepared so that we may spend an eternity together.

Janet 09-16-2006 09:00 AM

You are absolutely right, Marilyn, no doubt!!!:)

Taurus Babe 09-19-2006 08:02 AM

I have none, yet. I want about 4...That's a freaking handful but I love kids! It depends on what job I end up with because I've got places to take my kids (like my parents did with me) and I have to beable to afford it!

Gina 09-19-2006 02:30 PM

First I want to say that you all have beautiful children. I have two, a son 21 yrs, and my daughter she is 19yrs. they are both in college and are the love and joy of my life....

Nikki 09-28-2006 12:07 PM

I have one- an almost 12 year old daughter who has truly been the joy of my life. We always planned on three but were always so happy with the one we nerver got around to having more and it sure isn't going to happen now. I always figured my daughter was so good, the next one would have to be a little demon.

Willow 10-07-2006 12:15 PM

I have 4 kids...One 7 year old daughter and three boys ages 5, 3, and 17 months. I would like to have one more, maybe, but I am not sure. My three year old is potty training and my 17 month old hasn't started potty training yet. I think I would like to wait until I have them both potty trained before we decide to add another one!

Janet 10-08-2006 03:06 AM

Your daughters are so pretty. It's great that you all are so close. Sometimes when they are that age, they would rather be off with their friends. We've been lucky, that our son likes spending time with us. We laugh a lot!!!!
