Gosh i dont know, im still gob smacked. :(

I just recieved an email from Sheryl with bad news :( she lost Teenah her horse lastnight :( :( Im sobbing and feel kinda lost for words.
I feel so bad, i know how she loves Teenah. Somehow i grew fond of her thru seeing pics of her, and listening to Sheryl's riding stories.

She is heartbroken.
Can we all keep Sheryl in our thoughts & prayers please.

My place is to be right there with her right now comforting her! This distance kills me right now and i know it does her too :(

Oh, that's so awful!!! I really thought Teenah was going to be alright. I feel so bad for Sheryl.

Thanks Angie, i cant thank you all enough for being here, and thinking of her.
Glad i was able to come here lastnight, i cried/sobbed my heart out when i heard about it.
It was so strange, because i was on my other computer chatting here, and listening to music. I was ready to go to bed, and came to shut the laptop down when i thought i'll check mail first before bed, thats when i recieved Sheyl's mail. I was gob smacked, called my husband, i was in tears talking to him about it, than came here to tell you girls.
I feel really so sad for her.

Oh my! :( I'm so sorry this has been so difficult for both of you. It is just so hard when you are hurting for a friend and you feel like there is nothing you can do...

Being there for her will mean more than you will ever know, I'm sure.

Sheryl I'm so sorry, I know how you feel, it's been a bad year. My mom had to put 2 colts down, her best friend just lost a colt at birth, & one of my mom's brood mares died yesterday. I don't know what's going on, but it's scary.

Just wish i could do more for her, i would walk to the moon if that could take away her pain.

I know in time she will heal, and she WILL be ok.

I know she will feel better in time, I just wish she wasn't in so much pain now. I'm sure you understand that though... Have you been able to talk to her today?

Yes, i opend the computer early this am, she emailed me late lastnight, she couldnt sleep. She doesnt sound to good.

awww poor Sheryl. Make sure she know we send her lots of hugs. I wish there was something more we could do.

Oh my gosh, you ladies make me cry. Not bad tears but just knowing in my heart how wonderful you all are.

Teenah is resting in such a beautiful place now. It's in a park like setting. She is next the the river, green tall soft grass and beautiful trees surround her.

This fall I will plant tulip bulbs where she rests. This way every spring I will see beautiful flowers and remember how she is running free.

Life works in many mysterious ways. Weeks ago I came across this horse in OK I really liked. He is very calm and thought how even my husband could ride him. I was going to give him another visit and if it all worked out to buy him. He would keep Teenah company in the pasture and I was thinking of selling my other horse Wildflower. Well, now that Teenah has passed it looks like Wildflower will be with this other horse if I buy him.

So today I will be driving to OK w/ my horse trainer to look at this gelding. I have to keep taking deep breaths because I can't explain it, but still feel a little sick feeling from the other night over Teenah. So I have to relax today when I am around this gelding and push my pain from Teenah aside for a moment. I am just not sure if I can do that today yet. But I shall try.

Anyway - you ladies are so great and I will be back to 4wt as soon as things stop spinning around here and it all gets back to an even kilt.

I know we all talked about changing our avatars to show our faces. But, Teenah is in my avatar and I think for awhile Id like to keep her on it. I remember that day when this pic was taken. It was a great ride that day, warm and sunny.

It sounds like an absolutely beautiful place Sheryl. I'm so glad you have found the perfect spot for her to rest.
Good luck with the new horse today. You are a very strong woman. I know it will be hard but I have faith that you can put your emotions aside long enough to check this horse out. If you need alittle extra strength, remember we are all with you in spirit. *hugs*
