The weather is setting records again!!!

37 degrees and sleeting in Austin on April 7th at 4:10 p.m. :eek:

So totally weird. It's 41 deg here near the coast.

"Across Texas, a weather disturbance brought snow, a wintry mix, and rain to the state on Saturday. Dallas reported a trace of snow on Saturday with Brownwood, TX reporting nearly 1" of snow. This storm will continue to sink to the south toward the Gulf of Mexico spreading rain along the coast." from Weather.com.

I know it's probably colder than normal where you are, too. This is just really strange for us since it's been in the 70's & 80's around here lately.

It's been weird here as well. It was in the 70's & 80's. Then it dropped to the 20's & teens. We had a dusting of snow last night/this am. It's all melted now. but I really want spring back. I hope it doesn't last very long. It is supposed to slowly warm up & be back to 68 by friday but wow what a drastic change & almost another week of cold here. :(

The weather is strange all over i think. Its been so nice and warm all of last week.
This am was cloudy, sun in the afternoon, but the wind was ice cold. Tomorrow its expected to be great again.... i hope they got it right :)

It's been is the teens and 20's here too. It did get up to 32 yesterday. After last weeks high 60's, low 70's I do have to say this is not what I want. I want spring weather before summer gets here.

Sorry I can't join you all...lol I'll just wait it out, it's got to get better.

OK......OK......One of the hairstylist, chefs, or manicurist is going to have to stay here to make room for ME! After my weekend I DESERVE a vacation. Mandy, do you have a nice cozy bed available for me? ........Throwing a bikini in bag along with other clothes........OK.......taking out bikini and looking at it with a questioning look and a shrug.......tossing it in trash because it's from the 1970's.......and grabbing plus-size swimsuit along with other clothes........I'm finally packed.......no.....I forgot the wrinkle cream, sunscreen, and book to read.......Ok, I'm ready to go......When are we leaving?

Why do we have to take so much more than we used to? I refuse to admit it has anything to do with age!

I'm here and definitely ready to go. I've left the book at home, forgot the wrinkle-cream, and am looking forward to doing some shopping with everyone and looking for a new swimsuit! I'm buckled in and already half asleep relaxing in the seat while I wait for the rest to get on board. I'm so worn out from the weekend.

I'm kicking the hair dresser off the plane, so there is room for one more. Just can't see losing the Chef. Soon as everyone gets on board and fastened in we'll get going.

*looks around, decides buckling up sounds like a good idea, snaps the buckle in & looks innocent* of course I did :D

Thanks Janet, for making room for me!!! I'm so ready for a vacation and this REALLY sounds like fun. My husband is a home-body. He doesn't like to travel so I'm learning to go without him!
