Fell Off The Diet Wagon

Ladies, I am so upset with ME!!! I was doing so good excersing and eating healthy. The last two weeks I have been busy with work, haven't gone to the gym and am eating and eating.. HELP!! Anybody else going through this?? I keep saying tomorrow I will get back on.... It's frustrating

Janet 04-13-2007 03:54 PM

Yes Gina, I am going through the same thing. I think mine started more last week when I started take the Chantix. I haven't gained any, but I'm sure not losing any either. I've just had a lot on my mind too, husbands back, puppies, wanting good weather...you name it, I'm thinking about it.

Gina 04-13-2007 05:31 PM

Janet my problem is that I love food to much.. at night I am bored and look for sweets ughhhhhhhhhhh

Janet 04-13-2007 05:34 PM

That's when I want it too. Sooooo I buy those Weight Watcher cakes and save them for evening. I let myself eat one everynight if I'm in the mood. That's my chocolate fix for the day. I love food too and mostly the stuff that isn't the greatest healthwise, but sure tastes good. I hate being fat!!

At least you guys are on the diet wagon. I keep saying I'm going back on wait watchers and loose at least 10 pounds before I go to the beach and I'm going June 2. I really need to start this week and I might come close to the 10lbs. I need to lose more than that but that won't happen before the beach so I will try for the 10.

Mandy 04-13-2007 11:41 PM

LOL... Gina, dont feel bad! I keep forgetting i was on the diet wagon :D

You'll be able to do it by June, you just have to want it bad enough. I lose the first 10-20 lbs really fast, but the rest takes forever.

Marilyn 04-14-2007 05:43 AM

Gina, Ladies, you are not alone. I was doing so good. Started working out last May, lost about 16 lbs with only about 8 more to go. Backslid a bit over the Christmas holidays. Got back with the program in January. Fell off the wagon in February, but surprisingly a month went by and I had actually lost weight back down to my pre-Christmas weight. Not too bad.

Then last week I weighed again & I've gained 6 lbs. I just have to get back to the gym. I got some capri's out that fit me great last September and they are way too tight!!!

We need to hunt up that weight loss encouragement thread and revive it!!! I, for one, have to find the resolve to get back to the gym. I have 14 lbs to lose to get where I need to be, and for some reason, it's not easy for me to drop that much weight.

I may break down and go to WW.

Gina 04-14-2007 05:48 AM

Okay Ladies now that I ate a delicous breakfast of pancakes...lol that my hubby made. I am going to go to the gym once I pry myself off this computer...lol Marilyn I love capris, hang in there they will fit great once again. :)

well I have unwillingly started losing weight again. not that I didn't want to just not this way. I have had a terrible stomach virus for 3 days now. I'm afraid to leave the house because I can barely make it to the restroom here. :thumbdwn: The upside is maybe by the time its over I'll have lost the 30 lbs I want to.

It always works like a charm for me, but drink it slow  Hope it works for you too ;)

Janet 04-14-2007 12:52 PM

We were always taught to drink 7-Up or Sprite when we had upset tummies. We would just sip them, not drink a lot at once. Hope you feel better real soon.

Yikes, that sounds awful. You can send some of you extra heat this way. It was snowing here yesterday and it's still really cold today...

Make sure you drink lots of water. You can get dehydrated so easily if it's that hot.

Sounds yummy. Hot weather makes the best diet, right? lol. Makes you stick to water and fruit or at least light snacks. :)
