Diana Is Wonderful !!
 

I had such a wonderful time meeting Diana for the first time last night. I always knew she was such a sweet lady on 4WT but she is even more lovely in person. I had only wished we had longer to sit and chat but it was a long drive home.

Diana truly has a big heart and is full of life - she kept me smiling!! I hope there will be another day her and I can get together again.

Sheryl it is so nice that you and Diana got to meet. You are both very sweet ladies.

Sheryl, you are too sweet! I sooo enjoyed meeting you and your husband. Both of you were so nice to talk to. You are so much more lovely in person and I think that you should change your avatar to show your new hairstyle!!! I felt really bad that you had to drive so far but I knew that we'd find a better restaurant in a larger town. We'll definitely have to meet again!

A 4WT weekend sounds so nice and fun. We would just have to remember that some of us (me) can't afford a whole lot. I'm just a bus driver married to a auto body repair guy. We're far from poor and I'm grateful for what we have, we just don't have a lot of extras.

Well, if we leave our hubby's home it will cost half as much!!!! :sidesplit:

YTer's are planning a big meetup together, maybe we're going to have to do the same thing here. Wouldn't that be fun? and make it for a weekend. Hey! I can always dream can't I?

I think that would be great! We just need to pick a place that's central to everyone so they don't have to spend too much traveling and where B & B's Or motels) aren't too expensive!!! Then there needs to be something to do.....shopping or entertainment. But there needs to be time for visiting with each other too!!!:)

You're right on everything you mentioned. My problem is I'd have to drive by myself and that scares me, especially if I have to go through a big city. I'm just getting too freaking old..LOL. I'm a big scaredy cat for sure when it comes to traveling alone very far.

We need a magic bus.

I say let's do it. Let's start planning. If we pick a date in the early fall after school starts, we can all start planning and saving. Travel costs are usually lower then. I don't have a problem flying to meet y'all, since I'm one of the fartherist away.

Looking at Google Maps, if you pick a spot midway between New York and Texas, That's around the Illinois, Missouri border. Near St. Louis. That's not too far from Indiana, Kansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Arkansas. Gina and Judy could meet at Newark and fly together.

What do you all think?????

I say yes!!! I would love to have a meet up and I don't mind going further either. It's what ever will work out for the other girls. Only thing is, Janet has to drive the bus after school starts and Angie has school. I can go after school starts and before harvest starts!

ORRRRR how about everyone goes to new york sometime between November 25th and December 2nd? :D Then I can be in on it too! Come on guys! I don't get to your country very often! ;)

I may need to be in the NY/NJ area in the late summer for business, not sure yet if I will need to go. The trip could be delayed, however, it's a bit cold there in late Nov, early Dec. and, I want to take Melissa to NYC before college starts in the fall. Hmmmmm.....

We'll all have to think about this one and see what we can work out.
