Relay for Life-Help-we need a name
 

I think I will start a team for relay for Life. It will be mainly my family---Kids and Grandkids-- Help us come up with a name for our team---

Come on I know all of you have great ideas.

I can't wait to hear what everyone says Mom. :)

I'm working on it as soon as I change my clothes I'll have some suggestions.

How about Deb's Dynamos? I get the feeling your kids would do anything for you...

How about " Deb's Fighters ".:)

I like both those names, How about ~ Debbie's Rat Pack~Debbie's Little Demons~Debbie's Little Darlings~Debbie's Reason's to Live~Oh, I like the last one the best.
I'll keep thinking about it.

Our team was between two names.... Mission Possible and Re-Lei for a Cure. We decided on Mission Possible and we're going to have the Mission Impossible sign with the "im" crossed out, and we're decorating our site all spy-like :) For the other one we were going to make our site all hawaiian themed and wear grass skirts and leis.

How about Deb's Divas? Or Devoted to Deb? Fight to the Finish Group? Hmmmm.........Gonna' have to think some more!

How about Deb's Dream Team? I like Deb's Dynamo's, too. Or Deb's Dynamic Desperados?

humm thinking how about Deb"s Never Given Up Team , or how about Deb's a survivor .. I kind of like Kats best Deb's reason to live.. like that Kat!

I've done the relay for life for the past 3 years with co-workers. It really is a moving experience!

Well we had a hard time deciding between Deb's Dream Team or Deb's Reasons to live but we went with Debbie's Dream Team. Lindsey suggested we put our links up so here it is:

You were Kat and I really appreciate it. I never realized how may people had cancer. The chemo room at my doctor's office is nearly always full. There are several people there in their 20"s. A co-worker's niece died of cancer last year at 11 and Traci knows someone who's 10 year old daughter is being treated now. I am just hoping to help a little.

Just donated. Deb, every survivor helps to give hope to the next person. You'll be a light at the end of the tunnel for others.

We have updated our site. Go look at it and then click on each person's name in the roster and you will see their profile page. Angie,Crystal and I have done it and I am going to do Bobby's now. Traci had to work today so she will do hers later.We don't know what happened to Brendon......

Angie and Crystal's profile pages brought tears to my eyes, it shows how precious you are to them.

:mad: I wanted to put pics up on my profile, but since i lost all my pics in a computer crash incident, I don't have any. Mom, yours, crissy's and Angie's look great! I'll try to figure out something to do with ours. Maybe Angie will have some pics of you with my kids.

Traci-I have pictures on my computer--Angie and Brendon put them on mine from theirs. Come by and pick what you want and we will put them on.

Kat, to look at the site now I feel like it is all centered around me but I really want to help raise money to help people just beginning this struggle or help to find a cure so others won't have to go through it at all.

Relay for Life is tonight!!!! It is from 7 P.M. to 7 A.M. We must keep someone on the track at all times. It will be a little hard due to work schedules but we will make it. My 17 year old son says he will walk all night. I hope we get lots of donations tonight. We are going to be a little short of our goal due to getting a late start and my not being able to do much due to treatments and surgery. We are selling snacks at the relay and Traci and her children have collected some more donations to turn in so we should do OK.

Have a successful relay and a wonderful time! The whole family will be there - how much better does it get?

As I read your post that the relay is tonight, I glanced at some of the old posts.
Debbie, I am so grateful that you came through that dark tunnel into the light.

God is good.

He sure is Judy!! When I first signed up I wasn't sure I would be able to do Relay. Now I have been able to go to the beach and still able to do this. After the radiation the battle is over except for prevention and checkups.

Well I didn't make it till 7. Traci's oldest and I really got tired and started packing up at 4. My goal was $500 and we only made $300. Lots of the teams only stayed till 10 or 11. The company Angie works for had a huge turnout and had a lot going on. They were amazing.

Here are a few pictures. I didn't have a lot on my camera. We used Angie's camera a lot so I am sure she will post more later. She has been having a lot of trouble with her internet.
