Prayers for Kat!!!
 

Hey ladies....I sure hope Kat doesn't get mad at me for this, but could you all say a prayer or two or three or more for our friend Kat?

She had let me know she found a lump called a peripheral aneurysms in the femoral artery in her groin.

She didn't say I couldn't mention it and didn't ask that I not tell anyone so please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

I'm waiting to hear from her because she was suppose to go to the Dr. this morning.

I just got home, have to have surgery. Artery in rt leg is 80% clogged, and I have a Peripheral Aneurysm in my groin. More tests tomorrow and they don't get the results for 7 - 10 days. So surgery probably won't be until August.

I have been praying for Kat since she first told me and will continue to do so until this whole thing is over for her.

I'm finished with all the tests, and just have to be patient now I guess. I can't do too much until after I have the surgery. It could be worse, I am truly blessed by all the great friends I have that are praying for me...

No new information yet, this waiting game is a real pain in the neck. I'm gonna call the Doctor's office in the morning and see if I can't find out what the holdup is. I've got insurance so that's not it. I wish I had more to report, but I'm still hanging in there. :D

I'm with you Kat. I just don't understand what takes them so long. I know there are a lot of other patients, but this waiting game gets really old.

Oh Kat, the waiting must be awful! I'm sure you'll get good news, but the doctor's office really shouldn't keep you waiting like this. They should know that stress is not healthy! :rolleyes:

Well, I called first thing this morning and his nurse told me that they'll let me know my surgery date as soon as the Doctor reviews all the results of the tests..:eek:
Gee Whiz, I want my life back....:fainted:
How long does it take to read a few test results???

Hi, I leave in 10 minutes for the Angioplasty, and hopefully will be home tonite..
Will find out when bypass surgery is after the Angio, thanks for all the prayers and will post as soon as I get home.
